That manapult launcher is the only thing that makes the pre-order dlc worth it for me.
how many people are gonna actually use the octopus gun? it seems like cheating unless theres some catch to it, like they blow up after like 5 seconds or something...
Probably not going to be using it in missions. Will use it when fooling around the city though.
I might use the octo. gun to hit people in the nuts, but other than that, no.

Hi guys, posting from the expo now. Ok so I played SR3 earlier today, cheapskates only let me play 15 minutes tho...got free condoms for some reason. I'll upload pictures if you want. Anyhow, the game feels fun and it's got that hilarious feel that SR always had. I guess the fun in the game will be in how much shit you can fuck up when you have access to everything. I only had 15 minutes, I used them to kill some bitches, hoes and gangbangers. Then I used something called a mollusk launcher, I didn't like it so I bought a deadly reaper or w/e they called it. It's basically predator missiles, you can aim from a satellite and shoot steered and dumb missiles from it. Fun tool. Also the various bodyslam things you can make are quite fun too. And well I felt that i only scraped on what would be something big, given the little time I had to play I just couldn't get more feeling than revamped SR2. But I still feel that this game will be bigger and much better than SR2. So I would recommend it if you're a fan of this kind of "random" gameplay.

I don't know if this is posted yet, but SR3 will require an online pass to unlock the Co-Op : http://www.tqcast.com/2011/11/04/saints-row-the-third-will-require-online-pass-for-online-game-modes/

Game looks fun, I preordered it from Amazon a couple of days ago since I couldn't buy it on steam
A slight inconvenience only. Probably for consoles only too.
It's a console thing, it means they can wrangle a wee bit of money from preowned sales. They charge you about $10 for it (comes free with a new copy)

Anything we need on PC will be provided via Steam. No problems there.
Gosh...so many choices for a character! I don't know what I'll choose when the game releases.
ehh I like how the default Boss looks already
I'm not really a fan of his hair it seems a little... retro.
I'm not really a fan of his hair it seems a little... retro.
I'm not really a fan of any of the mens hairstyles. I found it a lot easier to create a female.
Can anyone confirm that there will be more character creation choices when the game comes out? (clothes, hair, tattoo's, etc)
Can anyone confirm that there will be more character creation choices when the game comes out? (clothes, hair, tattoo's, etc)
I can confirm we'll see more clothes. Not sure about anything else.
I'm not really a fan of any of the mens hairstyles. I found it a lot easier to create a female.
I do too. Plus I play a man 24/7...time to change things up ^^
Can anyone confirm that there will be more character creation choices when the game comes out? (clothes, hair, tattoo's, etc)
I'd guess they might at least add walk styles like in SR2, but then again I don't know. We'll tell you on the 15th.
I'd guess they might at least add walk styles like in SR2, but then again I don't know. We'll tell you on the 15th.
I'll find out for myself because I'm about to pre-order this shit!
Can anyone confirm that there will be more character creation choices when the game comes out? (clothes, hair, tattoo's, etc)
We got the character creation part of the game, not the customization from stores, salons, and tattoo parlors.
We got the character creation part of the game, not the customization from stores, salons, and tattoo parlors.
Actually, we did. We got ALL of it. Just missing about 20% of it. Not sure what's included in that 20.
Is it bad that I'm afraid to mess with the face features? I always seem to have trouble making someone look good so I usually pick the default.
Is it bad that I'm afraid to mess with the face features? I always seem to have trouble making someone look good so I usually pick the default.
just hit randomizer until you get a face you like then slightly tweak it
I don't mind online passes since I always buy my games new.
I don't mind online passes since I always buy my games new.
For online, buying games new is a definite for me.
just hit randomizer until you get a face you like then slightly tweak it
lmao that never seems to work out for me;
