The picture will work, but Volition has been talking about removing those characters and/or banning accounts. The warning is in the readme for a reason.
To clarify, the way the IS works is that takes a screenshot of your character and uploads that along with numerical data for each slider. The way the mod works is that it changes the morph keys and morph scalars, but not the actual value of the slider (since this would break the clothing terribly.)
So, what happens is that you set your modded character's forehead height to 100 and it looks like a huge cone. You choose upload to IS and it snaps a picture of that huge cone. Someone else downloads your character and their version of SR3 is unmodded. On their screen it looks nothing like the snapped picture. i.e. the forehead height is still set to 100 but is merely a high forehead and not a huge cone one like the mod allows.
This is obviously a problem for Volition since now it looks like their tools are not working correctly when people don't get huge conehead man like they were expecting. Panic ensues. Their forum explodes. Rivers turn to blood. etc.
I have a couple ideas how to fix all that, but I can't because the lua data for the IS menu system is tucked away into a str2_pc file. While we can unpack these types of files with Gibbed's new tools, the repack of them just crashes the game due to the engine's load order of the files inside the vpp_pc archive. Gibbed is working on a new version of the tools to correct that, so I'm stuck until then.
TLDR;
Don't be a dick and disregard the warning in the readme. Don't upload modded characters to the IS from this early alpha I shared so people could play with it while waiting for the full release of the game.
I remember having the first saints row and thinking it was so bland. I thought Saints Row 2 was over hyped. But this one looks truly epic.

I prefer saints row since it's all fun and crazy. It rarely took it self seriously.
GTA seems to of took a slightly darker and gritty route which is hit and miss for me.
Both games are good. But I'm falling for Saints Row. Rock Star will need to cook something good for their next GTA. Let alone they don't release a PC version along with consoles.
I really like the effort Volition are putting into PC version. It's rare to see that these days.

The VA is Troy Baker, and I've always loved how he voices characters. If you like him here, I'd recommend checking out Persona 4: he plays a main character in the game, [sp]and probably the most interesting one. Pulls off a fantastic performance in the role, too.[/sp]
