Despite not actually selling any PC games, GAME don't like Steam holding a supposed monopoly on that. So if a publisher puts a major release like say, Skyrim or Saint Row 3, they boycott all version. Because the console players (the primary market for the game) can only get it retail, the publisher overall loses money from it and give in to GAME's demands.
Oh, and GAME lie and say they're not responsible for it. While technically correct, it's still more or less them who does it.

So what you're saying it's pretty much an exclusive to GAME for a few weeks? I swear I saw SR3 on Steam at one point too...
ah well, I'll wait till whenever it's out on Steam. I should get Genuine versions of the SR3-TF2 items too :dance:

If I had to guess, probably only Steam preorders will get the promos since keys and retail can only be activated after release...right?

Every game that's pulled because of [del]bullshit retailers[/del] retailers bullshit is always up for a couple days before taken down. There's your window of opportunity to preorder the next major release :v:

Game UK had a bitch fit.
Long story short. Game said steam and other digital sellers was damaging their sales. They said to publishers if they allowed digital sales to continue they would refuse to sell their games full stop. Publisher rolled over. Now UK consumers are losing out on the juicy pre-order content.
IMO, Game doesn't support PC gamers all that well.
I either buy my games off Gameplay or steam depending on the size of the game. I don't play tf2 that much any more.

I've pre-ordered and now I'm to excited. Shame Europe need to wait a week till release.
Mainly I'm gutted that they're not selling the collectors edition the bullet shaped ice cube tray looks amazing.
By the way if any has information about the zombies that have featured in gameplay is that game mode? Would like to see some sort of zombie option to have out in the open world. Zombie Uprising in SR2 wasn't all that great. But would like to see it expanded into the actual city without crazy filters and grey scale effects.
Playing zombie mode with access to vehicles in co-op would be pretty amazing.
Anyone else happy that they're also adding in wearable TF2 class bobbleheads? I remember it being suggested somewhere once, and now that it's for real, I'm so damn excited.
