Saints row the third is a [B][I][U]STEAMWORKS POWERED GAME[/U][/I][/B] no matter where you buy it you have to activate it on steam.
Unless you buy it via origin.

does anyone else's cpu get really hot after playing this? before playing everything hovers around 45-60c but after playing saints row 3 the temps sky-rocket. no other game affects the temps so drastically.

it makes the game unplayable too. it usually runs around 30-45fps but after a few mintues it drops down to 13-22fps.
i play around medium/high. no post processing, motion blur, or msaa

I have a 5770, just put ambient and post processing on low, rest on high. If you still don't get as great fps, apparently turning shadows to medium works perfectly and still looks as good. Problem with AMD, not the game. I'll be switching to Nvidia soon.

checked the thermal paste earlier today, all is good. fan is cranked up pretty high as well.
no other game brings the temps so high, so i'm guessing it has something to do with the game's optimisation. i'll just wait for a new patch or driver to come out i guess.

Shaundi was the drug addict, Gat was the psycopath and pierce, well who gives a fuck about pierce.
Shaundi in sr3 just feels too generic, the only characteristic thing she has about her is she's constantly pissed, as if that's her only role.

umm yeah but it was a really fucking shit role then. i loved pierce and gat in sr2.
sr3 has zimos and pierce for me so far, and even Oleg at times.
are there any music stores in the game? I really want to make up my own mixtape but I dont know how to get the music?
