Finished the story today. Didn't expect it to be this short. Fair enough, I rushed through it, not doing any side-missions or messing around and played (with an exception of evenings and lunch break) whole yesterday's afternoon and today the whole day, but as far as I remember, I did the same thing with, for example, Arkham City a while back and even it lasted longer than SR3 if remember correctly. And AC isn't even a true sandbox game. I don't know, maybe I just rushed too much, but I'm used to much longer stories in this type of sandbox games.
Does anyone know if you can replay missions? Maybe I'm blind, but I didn't find that option anywhere. Please, tell me they didn't cut it to release it later as a DLC.
Also, I've just finished the [sp]Stag Party mission (the one where you defend the Saints HQ from STAG). How much of the story do I have left? I really like this campaign for it to be over soon.[/sp]

This is actually a good question, considering SR2 had this feature. I'd like to know as well.
I hate the controls for the tanks. When I press w I want to go forward. When I press a or d, I want to turn left or right. When I press s I want to go reverse. I don't want look direction to be involved in movement.

[sp]"Stag Party" is one of the ending missions. The mission where you defend Saints HQ from the STAG is a different one.[/sp]
I did the non-customization bypass for the BEAR.

Ahahahaha wheel size 41
What was the non-customization bypass thing again?
[sp]"Stag Party" is one of the ending missions. The mission where you defend Saints HQ from the STAG is a different one.[/sp]
[sp] I could've sworn it was Stag Party, or was it Stag hunting? One more thing, will I ever get the chance to don the Stag armor? They look pretty badass.[/sp]
What was the non-customization bypass thing again?
You go to rim jobs, retrieve customizable vehicle, go to customization, go to garage, highlight uncosomizable vehicle, and press exit garage, somehow you enter customization display and do what you want.
Shame you can't paint the body color of N-forcer.
What was the non-customization bypass thing again?
Go to a "Rim jobs" store, choose a customizable vehicle and "spawn" it. get in it and press E and then press garage and hover over a car you want to customize, then press esc and yes. Done.
Got to play this for 5 more hours at my buddy's again. Absolutely love this game, having as much fun on this as I've had on Skyrim! Too bad I don't have the game myself though

You have to [sp] choose the kill killbane ending and complete the stag film mission[/sp]
[sp]"Stag Party" is one of the ending missions. The mission where you defend Saints HQ from the STAG is a different one.[/sp]
I think [sp]stag party is the one where stag attacks your building, and stag film is when they fly in on the daedelus[/sp]
What was the non-customization bypass thing again?
simkas we should totes play and make 2 william shatners
[sp]How relevant is Kanye West's Power to the game then?[/sp]
So I was waiting for one of the hitman targets to appear, as I was waiting a cop walked by my car and started dancing
Alright, finally finished with the game. My Thoughts:
Saints Row the Third stole the show at E3 as the most completely insane game ever witnessed by man. Now the public has the good fortune to play it. So, did it hold up to its predecessors and succeed in the areas they failed in, or does it fall flat on its ass?
Well, SR3 is indeed a good game, and you'd be committing a sin if you didn't purchase it this year. There is so much to cover that I don't even now where to begin. I guess the easiest way is to talk about whats good and whats bad individually.
So, why is SR3 worth your money?
Because it is the most awesomely batshit insane game ever created. I guarantee nothing short of the late PS1 title LSD is going to even come close to SR3's levels of insanity. To compare it to its primary rival, GTA IV (A game which I love with my heart), in GTA IV I can:
Steal Cars
Shoot People
Go bowling
Play darts
Drink like fuck
Mess around with Euphoria for a little bit
In SR3, I can:
Steal Cars
Shoot people
Base jump
Dress as a pirate, ninja, spaceman, or god help you furry
Fly an Apache Longbox Cobra helicopter
Edit and tune-up vehicles to my liking
Fight zombies
Call BURT FUCKING REYNOLDS to help me fight zombies
Engage in an all out street war with lasers
Fly VTOLs
Play a completely ridiculous gameshow where the objective is to kill team mascots
Dress as a gimp and go hit people with a giant dildo-baseball bat
And that doesn't even scratch the surface!
Many of SR1's and SR2's problems have been fixed. No more fuck-ugly graphics, no more performance drops, no more backwards control, and now there's several new modes like online Co-Op and Whored Mode.
But it cannot all be good, right? Well, there are a few faults, but only one big one: The campaign is shorter than a ant's dick. The 47 missions went by quickly and like all sandbox games, the end of the campaign just kind-of leaves a vacuum and you don't feel like playing anymore. Also, the boss fights were really lackluster. Seriously, the final boss for the good ending [sp] was throwing conveniently placed bottled-farts at someone and then shooting them.[/sp] Sure you [sp]fight Killbane afterwards but it's all in a movie, and it's just as boring and un-involving[/sp].
So, that's basically my review of SR3. I don't know if it helped you make your decision on whether or not to purchase this game, but I hope it helped.
Just great, I get a decker sword and chainsaw for sale, but no sign of [sp]Apocafist[/sp]
What, do I need to buy all other melee weapons or something?
You have to [sp] leave killbane's mask on when you defeat him. [/sp]

Too late darling, It's several playing hours behind.

If I add the VTOL to my garage where does it spawn? Its not at the airport crib..

It spawns on a helipad since the hovermode controls like a helicopter, and thats how it starts out.

I'm guessing you need it for that one Assassination mission, huh? It's like GTA: The cars just randomly spawn. However, I can tell you the brand you need to look for: [sp]Bootleggers are apparently classified as a Muscle Car. They're four doors, sorta look like a Sedan but have a long front hood.[/sp]
wow the cutscenes look downright beautiful whenever my character's face isn't animating

The following contains spoilers about Philippe Loren.
[sp] What the fuck happened? He was painted as a totally badass-ish Fre...Belgian arms dealer and then they just drop a fucking disco ball on him? [/sp]
SP:DR - Snape kills Dumbledore.

[sp] I'm guessing they wanted him dieing early on to be a surprise so they made him look like he was going to be the main villan. [/sp]

[sp]Yeah, a lot of the characters were like that. Built up as being really cool and then a very letdown boss-battle, or in this case no boss battle at all.[/sp]
