Why does that map of steelport look familiar? Think they based it off of NYC?

They said steel port is based off of Chicago in one of their videos about saints row 3.

Those Fleur De Lis buttons look cool, but they would be a bitch to button, poking at your fingers and shit. Also, I'm glad the strippers kind of look better in this game. Just edit that source file (player_creation.xtbl) in notepad and look for the mouth section. For each entry in that mouth section, change the base_value tags for each of them from 0 back to 0.5. You may want to go even further with it and try a value of 1 to get no lips at all.

The weird thing is that his character in coop will show up to you as if he was using [i]your[/i] slider mods. So, if he built his normally, it will mutate as something horrible on your screen but look fine on his, and vice versa. The easiest way to remove the mosaic without messing with the patch file and compatibility is to edit the shaders_pc file in notepad and remove this line: data\shaders\standard\sr2-pixelate_c.fxo_pc

It's pretty much impossible to somehow limit the area the game takes place on without putting invisible walls everywhere around.

But for Mercenaries you can at least explain being killed suddenly when you leave the boundaries. It makes less sense for some random citizen to get killed for leaving the city. SR3 could make it work since you're going right up against the most powerful people in the city, so if you make yourself vulnerable to attack by leaving it they'll go ahead and off you without like an icbm or something.
