By that logic, I could stick a 360 disc in my computer and it would play the game fine. Or, I could install skin and texture packs to TF2 Xbox from FPSBanana and it would work flawlessly, right?
Not really. Because it's just a set of parameters telling the game how the model will be altered. I don't see why the parameters would be different on console and PC.
After you finish the final mission twice, you can never redo it what the fuck game [editline]24th November 2011[/editline] There should be an option to restart the game on an extra higher difficulty with all the shit you finished the game with
i just wish there was a mission replay. it's the only thing I want!
I'm really confused as to why they don't have the cutscene/mission replay the last 2 games had.
I'm really confused as to why they don't have the cutscene/mission replay the last 2 games had.
Probably because of the missions that end with you choosing a reward.
Probably because of the missions that end with you choosing a reward.
I don't see the harm in unlocking the things you didn't choose after beating the game.
Probably because of the missions that end with you choosing a reward.
And? They could simply just do some extra coding that made it so deciding doesn't make a difference to what you originally chose.
I'm really confused as to why they don't have the cutscene/mission replay the last 2 games had.
So you could buy it as DLC later :v:
So you could buy it as DLC later :v:
Well the leaked DLC list did mention something you can buy that gives you access to the rewards you didn't get on normal playthrough.

Just easier to make it platform specific.
you're retarded i'd explain why but i'm on a shitty iPod keyboard
I still want Genki as a homie, I tried professorgenki in Angels spot but it didn't work, just a empty car at the end of the road that should have a homie in it.
Replaced Angel with Genki (Friendly Version). DL is in Youtube vid description. Genki's friendly NPC was called "GenkiGood", if you were wondering xD.
I found an odd glitch where angel splits in half
Found an easy way to get the Photo-op on Arapice Island when the zombies are on it. Just get a four door vehicle and recruit three gangsters. They should kill all of them giving you enough time to do it. Also, I'm confused. I've done every activity, and collected everything but my game is at 98%. How do I get further? Stunt Jumps?
Also, I'm confused. I've done every activity, and collected everything but my game is at 98%. How do I get further? Stunt Jumps?
Yep. You pretty much have to do all stunt jumps, buy everything, and all that stuff. I think you also have to have all of the upgrades that you buy from the phone too.
How exactly do you get the STAG armor unlockable?
Went in to test the patch. Played for 5 hours. S'good patch.
How exactly do you get the STAG armor unlockable?
pretty sure someone said [sp]choose the kill killbane ending[/sp] i havent tried it though...
It's not plain AO, it's SSAO (I believe). The appeal in it is supposed to be that it's supposed to add dynamic AO that changes based on the scene itself, and aren't just a static AO on the diffuse map textures. The problem is is that to get true SSAO, you need to sample each pixel, which isn't currently possible within a game engine, so you get a larger sample spaces much faster, which lowers the quality. And tends to lead to essentially what look like drop shadows on walls and whatnot.
Ahh, that makes a bit more sense. Every time I enable it, it just murders my card and gives everything some weird black "aura". While I see the different in stuff like clothing and shadows, it makes an weird mess overall. Again, it may just be how my card renders it.
You had better not have to buy all the upgrades being invincible with infinite everything would suck.
I got all of them right when I hit 50. Don't see the point in not getting them, not much changes since you pretty much never die anyways.
Well, played and beat this, Steam says 20 hours. Not bad, did most of the side activities and things to do. Overall I feel a little disappointed, I'd give it an 8/10
My game just crashed :( What's this I hear about the patch?
So I finally started playing this game (curse you, Skyrim!). I had to keep replaying the first mission for a bit, though, because whenever I made a character, they'd end up looking incredibly ugly in cutscenes even though they looked fine in-game, so I had to keep messing with the character creator to make something that looked fine in both. I ended up giving up because no change I made seemed all that obvious in the cutscenes. I blame the post-processing they put in the cutscenes. Anyways, it seems like I'm already 12% of the way to completeing the game, even though I just finished "We've Only Just Begun". That doesn't seem right to me, so I'm going to run around and do some activities before progressing the story any more.
Or, I could install skin and texture packs to TF2 Xbox from FPSBanana and it would work flawlessly, right?
actually jerkoff, that's exactly how that works

As long as your GPU supports the pixel shaders being used to render the SSAO, you're only going to see minor differences. So yeah, just turn it off. :v:
Woo, "100%" save file. Although I haven't really done any of the stunt jumps and the vehicle thefts. I have to admit, I was severely disappointed when I got nothing from doing all of the assassination mission.
Yep. You pretty much have to do all stunt jumps, buy everything, and all that stuff. Perhaps you do have to have all of the upgrades though. You do have to find all collectibles, do all missions (both endings, I'd assume) and activities (of course). You don't have to do anything from the Saints Book, Challenges, etc.
Woo, "100%" save file. Although I haven't really done any of the stunt jumps and the vehicle thefts. I'm not going to bother, because its extremely easy but just tedious.
I got all of them right when I hit 50. Don't see the point in not getting them, not much changes since you pretty much never die anyways.
I just wonder how they will balance the DLC for infinite rockets + invincibility to all ranged damage (melee still can kill us). Missions involving vehicles will work, since you still die if your vehicle blows up. And missions where you protect NPCs, since you never die in those anyway. But if they give us any more regular missions of going into a place and killing everyone, there will be literally no way to lose. Its pretty fun fucking around with these upgrades, but I wish you could turn them on and off.
Can someone help me out here? I'm at 91% in the Decker's territory. I only have 1 more territory in Burns Hill to go up in the farthest north corner. But the activity or property isn't showing up up. What activity should be there and how do I unlock it?

Seriously, most of the questions asked about this game in this thread can be simply solved with, "Just play the fucking game."
is the pistol supposed to be so quiet? also, cars and stuff are hella quiet and half the time don't even make any sound. is this normal?
