Beat the game earlier today. Replaying it as a female to see how conversation's pan out and to make different choices. Super fun game. :)
This game was awesome till I owned everything, saints were paving the streets, and there were no opposing gangs.

I assume there isn't a way to get the SR 3 DLC without pre-ordering it? Like possibly downloading them separately and putting it in your steam folders?

All major missions and stronghold replays should be working. Once you complete a mission with a character then that mission gets auto added to your cell phone in the Missions menu and labeled as REPLAY with a fleur de lys icon.
Also, replaying a mission sets the world to that state permanently so you can easily switch to things like the Thermopaly being in one piece, drawbridges back down, no zeds, etc.
So while playing I managed to crash my saints vtol into a statue on a island. I ended up being stuck there with no way out and everytime i tried calling a helicopter homie to pick me up, his line was busy. Y U NO ANSWER?

I just thought of something, what if you have a character that has like 100% completion or something, then you join another player who's only at the beginning of the game, chose that character and then save your game while in the session, wouldn't that basically reset your storyline progress, essentially giving you a new game plus kinda thing?

No it would only save the money earned and clothes changed kind of things not the story progress.

Does any coop partner you play with need to have this? Not even to play the missions just to free roam with you.
