Killing off the gangs was definitely no where near as satisfying as in SR2.
you don't even kill off the gangs you just take their leader's balls and they run off, leaving the headless chicken to reorganize itself into a group of similarly dressed people that don't like you that will continue to exist until you finish all the activities and buy all the property in their area
The rest is pretty much the same way, destroying the gangs is a very lackluster experience. I had myself questioning why I was bothering to do it. sure there was a reason to kill the belgian guy but the other 2 didn't do shit to you in any way.
The Deckers wiped out your bank account and the Luchadores Fucked up [sp]Gats Funeral at the bridge[/sp], for me it's good enough reason to kill them, however, i would kill them even if they didn't do anything because why not.

If they allowed you to buy a bunch of awesome shit just to have the deckers take it away THEN it would have been motivation. The luchadores. At that point I didnt even know [sp]Gat was dead. I was still expecting him to show up and wreck shit. They didnt even show a funeral. In the rocket scene I asked my coop partner "Hes really dead?" and he responded "I guess so. Thats stupid" [/sp]
As with all questions directed at this game, the answer is simple: Because Saints Row 3.
Yeah, but it posted it on facebook without even mentioning sr3, it just said at the top "I love rim jobs!" and it only described it at the bottom Then it said how many prostitutes I escorted in a later message.

I definitely prefer the gangs in Saint's Row 2 more so than in Saint's Row the Third. To me, they just aren't as developed as much as the ones in the last game, and it feels like that they haven't had their full potential. How can you make a gang of Tron wannabes and Luchadores NOT be as incredibly awesome as it sounds? [sp]And don't even get me started on what they did to Gat.[/sp] I should quit my bitching and continue hitting pedestrians with a giant purple dick.

I watched that video instantly when it hit my sub box, hilarious.
picture?
I wish I could, but I (understandably) deleted that shit as soon as I could.
I found out a few days ago that you can get the Killbane mask if you take the fists, just find a character on the gallery with the mask and it lets you use it. Found out the hard way that this trick won't work with the Genki head and stuntsuit :(
I wonder what future DLC this game has to offer.
http://idolninja.com/blog/?p=1242
New version should be out soon that fixes some replay mission bugs and cutscenes.
Replay Missions only $9.99!
Vsingular has confirmed replay missions will never be in sr3.
New version should be out soon that fixes some replay mission bugs and cutscenes.
Oh, sweet. Thanks! I completed http://deckers.die again and the end cutscene wouldn't load the inside of the casino, basically you could see the city outside and they'd be walking on an unloaded chunk of black.

They fought the same way, used the same weapons and the same tactics. They only looked different. In SR3, fighting each gang is a completely different experience, since they all use totally different tactics, weapons, vehicles and have totally different specialists.

Anyone who was having issues with the Mission Replay mod with things like cutscenes not having the right backgrounds, or not being able to complete or start missions, please give the latest v1f build a try and let me know if it corrects things: http://www.saintsrowmods.com/forum/index.php?threads/mission-replay.158/page-8#post-1118

Can't give you feedback because right now I couldn't test yet, but downloading the new version as well.
what? the only thing different between the gangs is their specialists they always act the same and the only difference between their vehicles were the colors
The specialists pretty much alone define those differences. The Morningstar use helicopters, which the others don't, Deckers all carry melee weapons and drive faster cars and the Luchadores use more explosives and much bigger cars.

Dual Pistols firing HE shots rule. It takes only around 8-12 shots to blow up a car/chopper/plane, they don't even have time to get out.
