My roommate did apparently.
He actually read most of it before playing.

Hell, the only games you should buy guides for (if you should buy guides at all, what with all the info in them being eventually available for free online) should be massive RPGs with a shit ton of quests and secrets.
i don't know if that's sarcasm or a compliment
it's a compliment
he looks hardcore as fuck
it's a compliment

oh in that case thanks.
at first it was a experiment gone wrong with trying to make him look like adam jensen, but i eventually gave up and said "fuck it why not" to this character

I did for the maps of the hidden shit...I know you can find it all online but I like having it in a book
its the same performance. only difference is the paint.
Where can you get it otherwise?
who needs a guide for this game? it's pretty easy
it's one of the most straight-forward games I've ever played
-go from point A to point B
-kill some dudes
-boss guy shows up and/or other groups of dudes
-defend helicopter while you make your dashing escape
-end mission

You can buy that one collectable locator thingy in your upgrades, and it will show you every single collectable on your maps

If there was one word to describe this game, I think it'd be "competent". There aren't really any super-dumb mistakes, at least, not big ones. Most missions are the same, but it's mixed up enough to keep you interested. The combat isn't anything to write a book over, but it's as elegant as cracking a dude in the balls can be.
I wouldn't call this game lackluster. It lacks luster, but it isn't lackluster, if you get my meaning.

Is there a way to still get the DLC from the guide book? If not, I'd like to get it later.

I know....but as I said...I like having a hard copy (and when I'm already paying $90 for the collectors editions an extra $25 whoop whoop)

i still greatly enjoy the game and will continue being a blind volition fanboy but sr3 is disappointing

Basically, if they'd work on it a years or a half longer, It would be fantastic.
New AMD drivers killed my SR3. It just crashes my whole PC after loading. The sound is stuck for 2 seconds and then it reboots.
How to roll drivers back?

That's like saying a tongue twister that doesn't tongue twist at all.

Can somebody please repost how to make Genkis more common, I have gone back at least 60 pages and for the life of me I can't find it.
Or what folder I have to edit at least.
SRTT Mission Replay mod v2 is out. It should fix most of the issues with the first release:

Whoever said that stole it from the Zero Punctuation review.
Either way, I dont doubt the game is disappointing to people who have played past SR games, but I myself haven't played SR2, so I'm loving the fuck out of this game. One day I'll pick up SR2 and see what I've been missing out on.

Is there anyway to get Genki DLC without having "pre ordered ver?"
Is there anyway to get Genki DLC without having "pre ordered ver?"
Only :yarr: but they will probably make it available for purchase later.
I put the mission replay v2 over the v1 in directory and now it wont start.
It gets to the black screen with white text and various companies then crashes, I reverted it to a version from yesterday, did the cache things on steam.
Its 100% fucked, it can't even get to main menu.
FFS.
I can't redownload because it took the whole fucking day to download from 81% to 100%
I have 2 install disks so that was retarded anyway.
My complete maximum speed is about 350KB/s.
I love sticking a satchel charge on someone and throwing them into a crowd of people. It's just so satisfying.

Didn't they say the only way to get it would be on a preorder?

Everyone who tested it confirmed it was okay. Are you running any other mods with it? Those might be the problem...
You could also try removing all of the following files with these extensions from your sr3 install folder:
*. str2_pc
*.asm_pc
*.lua
*.xtbl
That would effectively remove all mods and you could start over.
I want to replay missions on Xbox. :smith:
