I looked up the video that the island was mentioned in. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/features/archive/2011/03/25/take-a-video-tour-of-saints-row-39-s-new-city.aspx At about 4:50 he says "There's an island where some major shit's gonna go down, and I think it's gonna blow peoples minds for what it is. It's completely Saints Row. So yeah, there's a floating island in the south west corner of the world, surrounded by draw bridges, and... something's inside." It probably is just the Daedalus, but then again that doesn't have draw bridges, and isn't really in the south west corner.
I have no idea what this refers to.
Are you guys positive it's not the [sp]zombie island[/sp] since it's surrounded by bridges that he's talking about? I haven't checked the south west corner of the world like you said though, so i might to check it out.

Yeah I also though about Arapice, since it's the only island with draw bridges around it. I also remembered the picture of the map with mermaid in the south west corner. It's probably nothing, but who knows. [t]http://i.imgur.com/67LPA.jpg[/t]
Anyone wanna do some co op sometime? i'm thinking we could just mess about, cuz I havent completed the game yet.
I would be up for some co op.
I just noticed something, there's literally no physical way in or out of steel port other than by airplane, and the terminal is extremely miniscule. The residents are completely trapped.

Is there a sombrero in this? I haven't noticed if there was and I feel like making the mega64 character.
Why can't I hold all these saints (that isn't the same group moved for each shot, both combined were all the saints spawned in that area)
You can get Genki as a saint? Fuck yeah!
You can get Genki as a saint? Fuck yeah!
Mascot Saints.
You can get Genki as a saint? Fuck yeah!
Finish all of the Genki S.E.R.C. activities and you can unlock all the mascots. All fursuits, both beer bottles, Saints Flow and Saint colored Genki's will be available to be gang members.
Can anyone post a video of rolling ball of doom in action?
Oh god that game is so badass. The begginging was more epic then... Nothing I can compare these scenes to. I mean the plane.
Goddamn I love Prof. Genki as a character. And christ do I love this game. Beating a furry to death! About time! And it's considered ethical, even better!

And it's considered ethical, even better!
I love Genki too, he has just such a fascinating backstory and character, the silly style and lust for blood makes him crazy enough, then he is a super genius man-cat hybrid who has the control of thousands. Not to mention the art design, love that catface it looks so cool, with its creepy smile and green eyes.
Just changed my avatar into Genki, dunno if it shows up though, stupid cache.
I asked about disabling and enabling upgrades in the forums.
There are no plans to modify this within the game. As this is an option when upgrading your character, you have a choice of purchasing certain upgrades. If you feel it may be the wrong choice moving forward, then you should save your game before upgrading. Each upgrade specifically lists what they will do when applied, and they are not ambiguous.
Are you kidding me? Is it THAT hard to write some code that allows upgrades to be switched on and off using a true or false line of code? What the fuck man? That could probably be done in 5 minutes.
Why don't you just fucking NOT BUY the upgrades then? Why the fuck do you buy the update if you know exactly what it's going to do and then complain how you don't want that? You knew what it would give you before buying it so why the fuck did you get it then?

Why do you people get so pissy about this when people want something that should have been common fucking sense during the design process? [editline]December 12 2011[/editline] Especially you. You bitch at people for the stupidest crap.
Because it's fun to have it for a bit to fuck around with?
Save your game and then get it. Re-load your game when you don't want it. They're not going to implement it because it's a completely pointless thing to work on when all it does is save you 5 seconds of effort.

You know what it'll do before you get it, so if you don't want that effect don't fucking buy it.
Sonar, Idol already said he is gonna work on toggle upgrades so don't worry about it.

It takes little effort to save my game before hand huh? It also takes little effort to simply write a few lines of code that allow you to turn on and turn off an already working process of enabling upgrades. Besides, this should have been common sense when they were designing the game. Who the hell said, "Yeah lets not allow people to enable and disable upgrades."
It takes more effort to code it in than it does to just save your goddamn game.
Oh please. The upgrades are already coded to be switched on and off by purchasing them using, by my understanding, a boolean data type which basically just means an on and off switch. If they are already turned off, and purchasing them turns them on, how is it hard to simply just add upon that so the player can choose to switch it off again?

And ONE of them is already in the game. Guess which.
So it takes just as much effort to save as it does to code it. And ONE of them is already in the game. Guess which.
Ok, so lets say I had a hard time completing a mission because I kept dying and had no chance. So I decided to by the upgrade that made 75% resistant to bullet damage and extended my health in order to complete it. Now everything ahead will be just as easy, and I can't revert prior to a prior save because I want to progress further. Don't be stupid. We should have the option to turn on and turn off upgrades. Stop defending laziness.
