Is flashing still working in SR3 or was it only available in SR2?
You mean streaking? Yes. Oh god yes.
I just found this sword near nowhere. [t]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/632986216781330524/F0B32E491C41D55836A843FCBFF907D4DF2A062E/[/t] [editline]24th December 2011[/editline] Also it looks freaking familiar but i dont know why.
It's a shame, really. The gameplay, upgrade system and such are absolutely awesome and way better than in the predecessors, but the blandness of the city really dragged the game down. In SR2 I could spend hours just fooling around. As for SRTT, I pretty much just finished the story and some of the diversities and that's about it. I don't feel temptated to explore the city. Thinking back, I really can't say which one I enjoyed more, SR2 or SRTT.
You serious? The city in SR2 was ugly and bland as you can possibly get.
It had many more or less interesting places, in sr the third everything is so samey and all interior areas are devoid of NPCs or any kind of function.

If saints row 3 entertains me for 50+ hours then that is good, but if sr4 is going to entertain me even more than that, then I guess every now and then we will have to have games like gta 3 , gta 4 , sr3 where they are pretty much testing stuff.

Can you not pick up objects in the environment anymore? Or am I just clueless here? Steelport seems kind of dumbed down compared to SR2's Stilwater and it's more like SR1's city. I expect they'll go back to Steelport in the next game with a highly improved version like with Stilwater.
Can you not pick up objects in the environment anymore? Or am I just clueless here?
you cannot interact with the environment but you get laser guns!
I'm bumping into an issue where I'll get to the screen asking if I want to run it in DX 10/11 or DX9 and no matter what I choose nothing happens, the game process is running but never actually initializes. Any advice?
you cannot interact with the environment but you get laser guns!
Really really really really crappy laser guns.
You mean streaking? Yes. Oh god yes.
I thought in SR2 you could have one of those pedophile trenchcoats from Let's Pretend, showing your goods to uninterested bypassers.
I just now barely got it to run for a while in DX9 before it froze when you were about to blow the vault, anyone have any idea how to fix this? I got more power than the recommended and the latest DX11.
I liked Steelport better than Stilwater simply because the scaling of things felt better. Stilwater feels cramped to me even though there's so much in it. Steelport, on the other hand, feels a lot more like a city to me.
Is there anyway to rob stores that you've bought? Google is resulting in mixed answers. I've finished the game, own all the territory, and am now running around moping up achievements and such. Two of which require me to rob stores. Help?
I think I've robbed my stores before.. just aim and continue aiming until the cops show.
Just got this game + Genki stuff for Christmas. Too bad I have to download a 2.5 GB update or something..
Really really really really crappy laser guns.
but but pew pew pew
Fucking love this outfit.
Anyone have any tips on hoe to get this game working? I got the most recent beta drivers for my NVidia GTX 480 and more than defeat the recommended system requirements.
Be more specific. What is actually not working?
I can get the game to play in DirectX 9 until when they're about to blow the vault then it crashes. If I hit DX10/11 the process runs but nothing starts.
Have you asked about that on the official SR3 forums? You might get more help there.
I just got this game and the first missions were great,
SR3 is no better, though. I can name very few areas in both games that were special in any real extent.
The Decker place was pretty damn sweet.
Can't wait to play, got it as an early Xmas present this evening. I need some celebrity characters to download from Initiation Station though. I wish they would add a search feature to the Station.
