I would recommend getting an Nvidia over ATi
My 5870 works very well with most games but I see games constantly where they have certain issues with ATi cards (most all of them on launch)
Doubt this game is one of them though so since it actually advertises AMD before the game starts instead of Nvidia like most do.
What the hell happened, the game is super slow and chugs at low FPS, unless you are floor staring of course.
When I put it on medium graphics there are little red artifacts on stuff.
This game used to run perfectly on high what the fuck happened when I reinstalled steam.
Just got the game for Christmas and holy shit, fun as balls. One question though, any word on if they're going to release the pre-order Genki DLC for purchase later on?
No word on it, but I'm willing to bet it'll be unlockable through the first mission pack since that seems to center around Genki. However, it may appear as a separate DLC later, knowing how these things tend to work out.

why would you get a 560 Ti when the 6970 is an option?
the NVIDIA alternative to a 6970 is the GTX 570

I bought it when it was a daily deal. I started the game successful a few times and completed the first three missions. After that I couldn't start it anymore. Everytime the game freezes when the legal screen comes up. I tried resetting graphic settings and verified the cache of the game.
Did this happen to someone else before?

The 6970 is a better card and I have no problems with my 6770. My 6770 and shtity Core 2 Duo can run the game on high in dx11 with 2x aa and it never goes below 30fps, the game would run amazingly well with a 6970.

My brother has a huge problem. Every time he tries to play his mouse drifts upwards. The character is then stuck aiming at the ceiling, and he can't move it down.
When he tries to change controls, he also gets stuck in the menu.
I always wondered...
At the beginning of saints row, playa walks out of his house and down the road, only to get caught up with the saints by pure coincidence.
What was his/her original plan for the evening?
My guess is to buy a pint of milk for a nice cup of hot chocolate. Y'know, to go with the copy of titanic s/he rented out a few hours earlier.

Joystick or other game controller is being read by the game. Had the same problem in Battlefield 3, turned out to be a slider on my X-52.

so me and shadaez tried to do co-op genki but NOPE we tried twice and everytime we were near the end like a thousand brute's come out of nowhere and won't stop spawning after we kill them.
Anyone wanna play some co-op with me? I'm lonely :O

The only thing I didn't like with the Luchadores is that well, they didn't feel like Luchadores. They're all white. When I say Angel Da La Muerte, I was expecting Spanish speaking wrestler, not Hulk Hogan, the American Hero. I mean, don't get me wrong I loved Hulk in his role, but I it's kind of Contradicting to have an American Actor play a Spanish Luchadoer.

See what I mean? When I saw Angels artwork in GI before the game came out I was expecting a voice like Pitbull. I mean hell, you'd think the Killbane would be Hispanic. What makes it worse is that Hulk doesn't even sound Hispanic, When I pronounce his name I pronounce is Ane-Hell (sometimes Angel) De La Muedte . No Angel De La Muertay. Idk it just bothers me.

Hey, I've beaten Genki all stages on Hardcore. Best thing is to not kill the Hunters. Just burn them up a bit until they fall to their knees and blitz past them. But if you insist on killing them, then you have got to to take the minigun and have the other player move forward very fast while the minigun player (you could have two if you really want, then both of you push up) burns the Hunters. It will take around 2 seconds for a minigun to kill a Hunter. They do seem to spawn unlimited times so just keep pushing forward and it will remove their spawn after you pass them, or move it back, I forget which, probably the latter.
But yeah. What you got to do is just not kill them, instead bait them back a bit, incapacitate them, and run for the end. Especially in the final one with the trio of electric gates at the start.
