The problem I had with ho-ing is that it didn't sound like you were having sex at all.
It was enough to get me off.
The problem I had with ho-ing is that it didn't sound like you were having sex at all.
Not really much of a problem for me, since I'm most definitely kill every single person in sight that isn't with the saint's.

Then again, killing/destroying/fucking people/stuff usually fixes everything in SR. You know what? In SR3 I'm going to create old man Gandalf just to have him jumping out of the fucking plane, catching Shaundi and getting back on. C'mon! Just picture it. Every created character will now be 10x times more awesome with that intro (god knows that the intro in SR2 was boring).

A New City is Born Apr 18, 2011
When we first began looking at creating a new city for Saints Row: The Third, ideas came in from everywhere. Artists wanted one thing, our design team wanted another, and even I suggested some community ideas that had come up after Saints Row 2 had been on the shelves. With ideas in-hand and an overall goal of the direction Saints Row: The Third was going to go in, our concept artists started going to work, developing a vision for a brand new city. With no holds barred, some ideas really began to spring up, but one of the main concepts that remained was a large, centralized downtown which could not only be seen from anywhere on the map, but something even bigger than Stilwater had ever seen. Below are a few examples which were developed during that concept phase and are being worked into the actual city of Steelport. Take note of the towering statue overlooking downtown from the bay. The casino-lined streets all lit up with neon. The run down outskirts complete with Red Light district, and even a nuclear plant, ready for the most fashionable of nightlife. In the future, we'll be showing how these early concepts evolved into the final city of Steelport, but for now, think about what could be... If this game is going to turn out like the concept art shows, it is going to kick the utter shit, out of any other city free roam game. Volition, i am fucking throwing my money at you.
Yeah, I think volition is really hitting the nail on this one.
Can't wait for christmas.
Wow, Steelport looks like Gotham.
Honestly I hope for a small offroad/forest area outside steelport, maybe with 1 redneck village in the middle, nothing as big like San Andreas tough, just a smaller place to run around in cowboy clothes and drive offroad vehicles
a bit bigger than the woods in sr2 though?
There were woods? I don't recall seeing any...
I want this to have a toned down version of GEO-MOD 2. Would be nice to make a skyscraper collapse.
One of my favorite moments from Saints Row 2 was when I got into the top floor of the highest skyscraper(by crashing my UFO through the window), and was just exploring. I found a receptionist near the elevator, and she randomly took out a knife and said "I've killed before and I'll kill again!" The silly assassin was then thrown out of the window.
There were woods? I don't recall seeing any...
He's probably thinking of graveyard or trailer park.
He's probably thinking of graveyard or trailer park.
I thought he meant the mountain area. It's as close to a forest as it gets.
I thought he meant the mountain area. It's as close to a forest as it gets.
well theres the mountain, then theres the flat ish area with a lake and a cabin :v:
Video Interview w/ Scott Phillips Apr 21, 2011
In a previous news post, we announced that Saints Row: The Third had been chosen to be on the cover of this month's OXM UK magazine. Grabbing a cover is always fantastic news for those of us here at the studio, and in preparation for the OXM article, they came out to our studio and setup their camera. A lucky participant was Project Design Director, Scott Phillips, who sat down on the comfy couches in our lobby to give an interview. One of the larger topics covered in the video below are the weapons in Saints Row: The Third, particularly the Airstrike, and the RC Vehicle Gun. Click on the play button below to learn more about the weapons, our overall design direction of Saints Row: The Third, and how we continue to put fun gameplay first. Here's the video. There's some more information in their article, which you can access by clicking here.
To everyone running our Powertools app to slow down SR2 in Windows 7, we need your help! http://idolninja.com/blog/?p=863
A New City is Born Apr 18, 2011
Looks cyberpunk-ish for some reason
To everyone running our Powertools app to slow down SR2 in Windows 7, we need your help! http://idolninja.com/blog/?p=863
Done, but I'm not sure I'm using the correct timescale value. I hope that's not a problem. (I did try the custom patch/very slow supercar down the runway with stopwatch method, weirdly with no modification the time was spot on, yet I'm certain my game runs fast without powertools)
Saints Row: The Third has its own steam page now.

The new build is automatically calculating some timing values and grabbing system info to dump in the log file. The actual timescale value being correct isn't really as important as you might think. Thanks for taking the time to get us the info.
I can see this being the Game Of The Year, not much year left unless it gets made the Game Of The Year 2012?
It's still April. You know, the 4th month. Of 12.
1/3 :ohdear: Not much left
I love Saints Row, it just doesn't give a shit that it's not serious. It's like the AntiGTA, and whilst i like GTA, i can't wait to missile dropkick through a car window and hit a guy with a giant dildo until he runs off and gets shot down by my gang of mexican wrestlers.

GTA IV was going towards it but they were all pretty ridiculous.
