It's still April. You know, the 4th month. Of 12.
Yeah but it's not out now though is it, it's probably going to be out in November or something, which means there wont be much of the year left, i'm not stupid, i do know how much of the year is left from this point onwards.
GTA isn't really that serious, itself. GTA IV was going towards it but they were all pretty ridiculous.
Oh yeah no doubt, but on a 1-10 seriousness scale, Saints Row is alot closer to plain ridiculous than GTA.
Welp, just bought Saints Row 2 for the second time. I now own it on both PC and 360.
so will this be released on PC and will CD projekt still do the PC port?
Release at the same time on all platforms, at least so I've heard.
Oh yeah no doubt, but on a 1-10 seriousness scale, Saints Row is alot closer to plain ridiculous than GTA.
Sorry but that tickled me :v: "of a film rating up to 5 stars, we rate this cartoon very mushroom."
Wait, wasn't he/she talking about that hot-coffee style minigame and not the stealing-hookers stuff? Then again, killing/destroying/fucking people/stuff usually fixes everything in SR. You know what? In SR3 I'm going to create old man Gandalf just to have him jumping out of the fucking plane, catching Shaundi and getting back on. C'mon! Just picture it. Every created character will now be 10x times more awesome with that intro (god knows that the intro in SR2 was boring).
YOOOOU SHALL NOT PAAASSSSS!
so will this be released on PC and will CD projekt still do the PC port?
Volition is now doing their PC ports in house: http://www.joystiq.com/2011/03/17/volition-returns-to-in-house-pc-development/

I want to play SR2 on my PC with my Xbox controller, but I can't bind shooting and driving to the right trigger because it wants to do both at the same time. How do I fix this?
Driving is A I believe.
Late reply, he had an answer, AND you didn't read. For fuck sake. He wanted to rebind the controls, not know the defaults.
Oh whoops, I'm sorry. Silly me. I thought IdolNinja was quoting someone else.
Oh whoops, I'm sorry. Silly me. I thought IdolNinja was quoting someone else.
Well, it's understandable. /crap_port can be used to answer just about any sr2 question that ever comes up. :v:
It's weird how this game takes place in the same continuity as Red Faction :hawaaaafap: But hundreds of years apart so you can argue it doesn't.
Maybe SR4 will take place on a moonbase.
I'm probably going to buy both the PC and the 360 versions of this game, Saints Row 2 was amazing to begin with and definitely won me over when compared with GTA4. But one thing I'm wondering is whatever happened to Pierce? Doesn't look like he was mentioned at all and he was one of the major characters in Saints Row 2. Pierce was a badass, fighting with the player character over what radio station to listen to while they were getting shot at, only to leave the radio tuned to a classical music station where he then began to hum along to the music. I hope Pierce plays some sort of role..

Our World Tour of Covers Continues! May 02, 2011
In the past month, we've seen Saints Row: The Third hit covers of magazines in the US, France, and UK, but now we're proud to show off the newest country, Italy, as GameRepublic.it (Google Translate link) has graced us with this honored position. Take a look below: [img_thumb]http://www.saintsrow.com/sites/saintsrow.com/files/fckeditor_uploads/gamerepublic_italy.jpg[/img_thumb] (Rough translation) "SR the Third is moving its steps in the right direction. After the first 2 episodes characterized by madness and irreverence, it seems that the game wants to leave behind residual seriousness to embrace a comics feeling oriented to the excess." “SR crucial missions will have character and personality in a pure Hollywood style” I've also heard rumors that we landed covers in Germany and Japan as well, but I'm still hunting down the story on that one. If you happen to find it, feel free to post a link in the comments below.
I want to see a video; not a bunch of magazine covers.
Maybe it'll get so many magazine covers that you can put them all together and make a flipbook video trailer. Did that make any sense? I'm going to go lie down.

Announcing Saints Row: The Third's Initiation Station! May 05, 2011
Character customization has always been a part of the Saints Row series from the beginning. Saints Row 2 really started to evolve customization by allowing for gender selection and a finer level of adjustment. In Saints Row: The Third, customization is not only still around and kicking, but we're going to push the envelope even more with the introduction of our Initiation Station. Want to learn more about the Initiation Station and how to get early access to it? Continue reading below. [img_thumb]http://www.saintsrow.com/sites/saintsrow.com/files/fckeditor_uploads/initiationstation_header.jpg[/img_thumb] Remember a while back when I said that we had some major plans for the Saints Row community site? Well the days of copying down over 150 customization values just to share your creativity with others is no more! The Initiation Station for Saints Row: The Third will allow you to create your own custom character in-game, upload it right here to the community site, and then have other members download your character straight to their system for use in their own game! The Initiation Station will be available for free across Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC in advance of the release of Saints Row: The Third this holiday season. The key to the offer above is to pre-order Volition's other title, Red Faction: Armageddon, since only early purchasers of Red Faction: Armageddon will gain this special access. An included voucher will allow you into the Initiation Station one full week ahead of everyone else to start creating your own custom characters. Stay tuned for more information on the Initiation Station in the future and you can view more details on how to pre-order Red Faction: Armageddon by [clicking here].
Holy shit yes. Oh and not sure if this is late but there's a media section on the website now. Edit: I was looking at the Saints Row facebook page and saw some photos that weren't there before, sorry if late. I'm so glad they did that, making a character by copying sliders was very inaccurate and a waste of time.
Gentlemen of the Row v1.9 BETA 14 released! http://idolninja.com/betadl.php Changelog: Optional nude mod by IdolNinja Removes the pixelation censor bars for all you deviant sickos.
