Saints row 3 is being ported by the same people who ported red faction armageddon so there is hope for a good pc port. Even though it shouldn't be ported in the first place, but with these days it is either a port or nothing.
Easier to develop for consoles then port to PC I suppose.
um excuse me that is clearly a neckbreaker not a bodyslam, GOSH don't you know anything??
That's not a neckbreaker, that's a bulldog...I think.
That's not a neckbreaker, that's a bulldog...I think.
Nah bro, its a chokeslam!
I found this video on the SR forums, it has a couple of new gameplay clips in it.
Holy shit I was just thinking while watching the video that they should have an option to make the players boobs/dick bigger and about 5 seconds later they say that they will have that in.
I'm playing Saints Row 2 again just for fun and it still never gets old. I still burst out laughing at the court scene because of Gat's "I don't give a fuck" behavior towards the judge.
U forgot about Saint's Row 3...with Mass Effect 3 delayed and Hitman not coming out until 2012, this could be my second holiday purchase right before Skyrim. Assuming the PC port is better then the second game's of course.
I've not once seen an American that can do any proper northern British accent let alone a Yorkshire one. They should just get Sean Bean to do it.
I can see it now. "Eee, t'Syndicate'd best learn not to mess wi' t'Saints." "Shaundi, love, unless y've gor infermertion on t'Luchadors, belt up." "By, I an't seen a fight like that since Thatcher!"

I wonder if the Ho-ing Diversion lady will have different reactions based on penis size...

You may also want to give the SR2 PC FAQ a read if you haven't already. You may be surprised at just what kind of hardware you'll need to run it well: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1715922
That's Rockstar's thing. Volition should have their own monster, like the Chupacabra or something.
The shivans :smug:

Amazing Amazon you say? Hmm good deals. Ill take a look at it thanks.
Do you need a really high-end, top-of-the-line PC to run SR2? Or can it all be fixed by your FAQ?
It's really luck that decides how well SR2 will run on your computer.
It runs fine for me but coop lags to all hell.
Do you need a really high-end, top-of-the-line PC to run SR2? Or can it all be fixed by your FAQ?
You don't need anything bleeding edge to run it well. Give the FAQ a read. It details what specs you'll really need in the performance section, and tricks to get it running well.
It's really luck that decides how well SR2 will run on your computer.
It's not based on luck. That's just a myth that's been propagated by much of the internet because they don't understand why their fast cpu/gpu combo would have problems. The biggest thing SR2 needs to run well are a lot of free RAM, a fast hard drive (7200rpm or greater,) and clearing out Windows prefetch since the game is coded so badly it will not use that RAM if it's being prefetched like an app/game should. You still need a strong core2duo and something like an ATI 4850, but that's certainly not high end anymore.
It runs fine for me but coop lags to all hell.
It's probably not lag. What often looks like lag is usually just timing problems causing people and cars to teleport around. See the FAQ for information on Powertools that we released on how to tweak the game speed to get it running as close to the original as possible (which also helps performance tremendously too.)
Probably the game I am looking the most forward to. I am certain Idol will take care of stupid menu music if they put that in again, everything else seems just perfect already. [editline]12th June 2011[/editline] Btw Idol, for some reason me and a friend always crash after a few minutes when using GotR, I have no idea which version she uses, mine is the last major release.

You need to make sure she is on the exact same version if you want to coop. Also, if her saves are 1.9 then she will not be able to use them with 1.8 and will have to start a new character.
I can't fucking wait for this :saddowns:. Better play through saints row 2 again.
I cant help but think, it seems I am going to like the STAG more than the other gangs.
First day buy, gonna make the clown from Mortal kombat 9 my character. [editline]13th June 2011[/editline] With kung fu and stuff and he does the smooth criminal dance.
After all the bullshit (game wont work good on my pc), i brought SR2 for PS3, game is a blast.
SR2 runs on my PC but it has problems identifying the cores it seems. The game runs at 1.5x speed so I had to install a mod that allowed me to slow down the game. Though that only works outside, some areas that are indoors, the game goes into slow-mo for me.

Thanks for all the support you have given Saints Row 2 and its players, by the way. Greatly enjoying your mod at the moment :buddy:

Someone on the official forums had that same exact problem and I vaguely remember him solving it by reinstalling SR2 and then reinstalling Powertools. A couple of other things to note: * Make sure you installed Powertools correctly. That means updating your Direct X and Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1. Links for these are on the site. Also, make sure you installed Powertools with elevated privileges. i.e. right clicking on install.cmd and choosing Run as Administrator. * Powertools will only work correctly with the Steam version of the game. If you are using anything else like the GFWL version then you will need to use Cheat Engine instead. * There is a new beta of Powertools that attempts to automatically set the timescale. You may want to give that a try: http://saintsrowpowertools.com/beta.html If all else fails, then you may need to use Cheat Engine instead.
