I don't see the port problems, my friend runs it on his little 2005 dell laptop and it runs pretty well.

I watched a police officer beat a civilian which made another cop in the area mad and they beat eachother, each called backup and it turned into an amazing police fight, then some saints rolled up and killed everyone and I was sad.
The only thing I'm going to miss from SR2 in SR3 is the cockney voice.

If there is I've already decided to call it Gentlemen of Steelport. First though I want to actually [b]play[/b] SR3... [b]a lot[/b]. Then I'll think about modding it.

Considering that Red Faction Armageddon files were in the exact same vpp_pc format, there's a good chance that this will also be the case with SR3.

It's short for Gentlemen of the Row, and is a collection of mods for Saints Row 2 that adds a ton of stuff to the game; weapons, clothes, cars, customization, logos, races, even missions.

Isn't the main character still supposed to be the same one as the other two games? Everything Volition has revealed so far says that you're still the leader of the Saints.
Although still, I doubt we will have the incredibly cheesy cockney accent making a return, as sad as it may be to see it go.

Yeah, I don't really see where the assumption of a "whole new engine" is coming from. Perhaps it's the better lighting, models and really just all the graphics in general, but it's still not as drastic as something like Red Faction. It still looks like Saints Row.

I totally understand. Volition's PC ports often leave a lot to be desired. In fact, modding SR2 PC often feels like putting a dress on a pig and hoping no one notices the oinking sounds. :v:
