The final mission takes place on Mount Vogel, after Dane Vogel of SR2.
When asked when new gameplay footage of SR3 will be released, Volition replied :

I will be very VERY disappointed if Volition won't let us launch cars/bikes/random objects/ourselves from a giant cannon at will.
