Just remember the fan base that goes on TVtropes daily. You'll be too disgusted to ever come back.

I can only imagine what weird things the fans have to say about Saints Row 2.
If anyone have Saints Row 2 on the PS3, the DLC is 50% off till 7/6
Also, there is a free dlc (i didnt know that)
Penthouse Pets in SR3?
Chosen for their passion for Saints Row?
I'm not sure they had that passion before their paycheck.
Also I recognized Shay Laren's name. Rubbed much more then one out over her.

Pretty much nothing, they're all on the Troper Tales page defining the personality of their black-furred rebellious sex-god wolf author avatars.

The free DLC is just a bunch of clothes. It's really nothing too good.

What a coincidence, I just bought all the DLCs today. I thought they were at normal price. :v:
Too bad the DLC isn't on PC.
The Corperate Warefare and Ultor Exposed have a lot of bullshit missions. Fucking EDF vehicles launching homing rockets, I can only use the fucking AR.
Is there multiplayer in SR2? And will there be in SR3?
Is there multiplayer in SR2? And will there be in SR3?
Yes.
There will be two player online co-op, but not competitive, or so I've heard.
SR2 does have competitive multiplayer, SR3 doesn't. They both have online co-op, though.
I used to play Protect tha Pimp all the time when SR1 came out, that was a lot of fun.
I wonder why they took out the competitive multiplayer? Granted, SR2's was pretty lame but if they brought back SR1's game modes with SR3's environment I'd love that.
If they took it out to focus on making the singleplayer and coop better that's fine by me.
Does anyone know if there was any word on Heli Assault coming back? That was one of my favourite activities.
I need to completely reset my settings, reinstalling didn't help. I can't launch the game until settings are changed. WAT DO?
SR2 was working fine until I changed the resolution.
I still want local co-op, but I'm slowly realizing that that won't happen. :frown:

A VTOL version would be awesome.

Delete your settings.dat in your save folder and have the game recreate it. The settings.dat file contains all your custom configuration info like resolution and also your gamespy login info. The save folder is located here:
C:\Users\[profile]\AppData\Local\THQ\Saints Row 2\
You can also try the windowed 800x600 settings.dat file linked in the SR2 PC FAQ:

If that is not there then, well.

Taken from the SR forums:
During an investor relations call, THQ chief executive Brian Farrell stated that the publisher is looking to increase post-launch revenues for its core titles by 20 percent.
Part of the plan, Farrell said, is to plan an aggressive campaign for post-launch content for its core titles. The first title slated to follow THQ's new digital direction is Saint's Row: The Third. "The idea is to really drive the key titles," Farrell noted.
When it launches, Saint's Row: The Third will include a Season Pass that will give players free access to a number of future downloadable content releases. The DLC plan is scheduled to then continue with content that will run for "nearly a year," additional microtransactions, and an in-game store.
Though it wouldn't break down specific numbers, THQ revealed that it has "doubled digital revenues this year versus last year." The strategy is geared to be attached to all of the company's core titles; however, Farrell notes that THQ will "take [its] foot off the gas for the titles that don't have as much traction" under the new model.
I don't know how to feel about that. On one hand DLC can be good and adds replay value. On the other hand, DLC costs me money.
So it's a bunch of free DLC and paid DLC? Didn't EA do that with Mass Effect 2 and Bad Company 2?
Yeah it sounds kinda like cerberus network.
Lets hope for dlc on the pc this time.
New competition for Mann-Co it seems. It would be funny if they dubbed their microtransaction store after TF2 somehow.
