Awesome, thanks a lot.
God damn this game kicks gta's ass out the water. I found a stash of sex dolls in some nuclear waste thing in sr2. Its kind of awesome unlocking cars for getting achievements and such, feel all accomplishedy
also i came when My dood started singing take on me, funniest shit ever

If anyone can post some scans, I'll be more than happy to add them to the OP.
Oh boy, another vegas themed game.

Where the hell did you get that from? I see nothing to do with Vegas here...

Well, It's called an uneducated assumption. >:(
The magazines are to hit shelves tomorrow. Grab em while they are hot.

Here you go, fresh off the internet.
The quality's so-so, so clearer and high-res scans will probably arrive soon once the magazine is more out and about. I'll try and see if I can find some, but in the meantime, enjoy.

Replaced with super-high res scans.
Same engine? no thanks.
I think I see weapon customisation in picture 4.
Also I like the looks of that new tank, the characters also look a bit less... Round faced.
Like they didn't even look like people in SR2. Now they do a bit. Atleast the custom made ones.
The graphics still don't look that nice, but at least the models and texture don't look as terrible as they did in SR2. Can't judge the gameplay yet, but if they're taking inspiration for it from Shoot 'Em Up, it has to be good.
I swear to god if the driving is still the same...
Scans are broken now.
I can't see the scans but I remember them saying that the graphics were meant to be onpar or better than GTA 4.
Broken scans.
[release]-Just as I predicted Saints Row III will feature Customizable guns for the first time in the series, you can add sniper scopes to your assault rifles, under-slung grenade launchers, You can also add a third barrel to a double barreled shotgun to create the Gravedigger.
-Just like acquired cars, upgraded guns are now a permanent feature in your arsenal. So don't worry about losing your weapons.
-Players can call in laser guided air-strikes at all times, the explosion disintegrates enemies. Players can also call in a Predator drone, the view becomes top down and you can pepper the area with bombs, or use a smart bomb which you guide with the analogue sticks.
-cars now deform more realistically
-Remote control gun shoots a bug that allows the player to control any NPC vehicle much like as if the player was driving it themselves. Hilarity ensues with this tool, for example you can control an enemy gangs car and purposefully ram into the police, watching the confused driver get chased by the cops is hilarious.
-Meleeing with a weapon close to an enemy = LOW BLOW! NUT JAB! Stiff jabs to the crotch all round.
-LB button is a sprint button, and also a modifier button, it amplifies almost anything the player does, for example sprint towards a car and attempt to carjack it, instead of opening the door and pulling out the driver, the player can performs a missile drop-kick right into the drivers seat, run from the side and you'll break through the window and the passenger goes flying out the other side...awesome stuff.
-If you prefer to carjack normally, the camera now zooms in as the player shoots the passenger in the face at point blank range, or repeatedly bashes their head with the doors.
-dedicated grenade button. Very nice.
-No more eating to regain health, health now regens. very reasonable for a game like SR. [/release]

also the new rival syndicates looks pretty interesting, and awesome a fucking tank!

and hope the "cars now deform more realistically" means Burnout Paradise or GTA IV like deformation
GTA needed a tank
GTA needed a tank
The APC was pretty much a tank.
Fuck, regenerating health.
Fuck, regenerating health.
SR2 pretty much already had that and I do think that Saint's Row is a game that will actually be better with regenerating health.
SR2 pretty much already had that and I do think that Saint's Row is a game that will actually be better with regenerating health.
I liked the hamburgers.
I loved the slowly regenerating health in SR2 on Hard.
It suits better because then it isn't like GTAIV where you have a small accident of some kind and then play "hunt for the hotdog-stand" for 10 minutes.

[release]The button for sprinting has been dubbed the AWESOME button because, in contextual situations, it will make your character do cool things. For example, if you sprint to a car, you'll do a missile dropkick through the window to hijack cars more efficiently.[/release]
As if i didn't already have enough incentive to buy this.
As if you couldnt get any more "Fucking Buy me!"-ness. You find out what the Sprint button is now capable of.
Now, The news that Competative Online has been lost doesnt acually phase me too much. As long as we can have more than 2 people for co-op, 4 would be awesome, Anything higher than that is even more awesome.
I'm glad SR3 is still crazy and over the top. Rockstars' games seem to be going on the more serious/dark story which I love as well, so its nice to see two different iterations on the open world genre rather than a copy/paste of one.
Saints Row: The Third Time's a Charm
I hope they have split screen, the one thing that annoyed me about SR2 is that I would have friends come over who would want to play but can't, and we couldn't play online co-op because we had different consoles.
Drop kick hijack sounds amazing.

I'd be in awe if you could do this too.
Full list of features:
[release]Saints Row 3 starts with a bungled heist that sees the majority of the gang jailed. This raises the ire of a new gang, the Syndicate, which holds you and your closest allies prisoner on a jet. The gang wants to squeeze a percentage of the Saints' monthly profits, which of course leads to a fight and causes your character to jump out of the jet. That's how the Saints roll.
Johnny Gat and Shaundi, two of your major allies from Saints Row 2, will be returning as accomplices.
Weapons can now be upgraded. For example, you can fit sniper scopes and under-barrel grenade launchers to the assault rifle.
Another character is Oleg, an eight-foot-tall monster of a man that can toss cars around. The Syndicate attempts to clone him, but science goes wrong and creates a bunch of dumb copies. These will show up as new enemy types in the game.
A new RC gun lets you shoot an electronic bug that can control vehicles remotely. You will be able to upgrade it to control tanks and air transport.
Three new gangs: Morning Star, which model themselves after masked wrestlers. The Deckers, computer nerds into money laundering and security. STAG, a government-sanctioned group designed to destroy other gangs.
Missions can be completed in multiple ways. For instance, you could blow up an important skyscraper, or take the building over. Another example if stealing a Morning Star boat full of prostitutes -- you can sell the boat back to the gang, or keep it and pimp the girls yourself for profit.
A traditional leveling system has been included this time. Your Respect gauge now works like experience points. You'll rank up with increased respect, and kit out your character with new perks and weapons. Player choice will be paramount. You'll also earn points to make yourself skinnier or fatter, similar to GTA: San Andreas.
Cars can be upgraded with more features this time. Various aesthetic and performance tweaks will be offered, such as durable bumpers, extra speed, oversized spoilers and colored underglows. More costume options for the player character are, of course, available. Confirmed costumes include space suits, cowboys/cowgirls, cheerleaders, mexican wrestlers, superheroes, pirates, ninjas, and furries.
New weapons include a giant dildo and tactical airstrikes. That is the most extreme spectrum I've seen.
Every single weapon has included a specific animation for nut shots. With a pistol, you'll drop to a knee and whip the gun into the fruits. With a bazooka, you'll take a full golf swing at the tender portions.
The button for sprinting has been dubbed the AWESOME button because, in contextual situations, it will make your character do cool things. For example, if you sprint to a car, you'll do a missile dropkick through the window to hijack cars more efficiently.
Confirmed Activity side-missions include: Professor Genki's Super Ethical Reality Climax, a Japanese game show full of dangerous stunts and, I'm sure, plenty of charming racism. Tank Mayhem, in which you use a tank to destroy specific high value targets. Guardian Angel, where you must drive carefully around town with a tiger in the back of your car.
As earlier stated, online multiplayer has been killed off, but the co-op remains intact.[/release]
