I bought it for the xbox, didn't check PC's prices.
that was silly
Well, according to the last game the PC version is just a shitty port, which makes it cheaper.
I wasnt expecting the Deckers to look so Cyber Punkish. They look quite awesome.
Can you not dual wield SMGs in the gentlemen of the row mod? I'm not getting the promt to do it.
IS it just me or does it seem the Oleg is everywhere your MC is? Like he's your bodyguard or something.
Did you miss the part where they're (EDIT: Most likely) going to take shit out to sell as DLC (as they already did for a pre-order bonus)?
Pretty sure the preorder stuff is still in the game, but the bonus is you start with it.
That Deckers trailer had me speechless, I never would've imagined a neon Tron level in an open world game. I hope you can revisit it once the mission is complete though.
Volition would never take away the Newspaper board. Ever.
Of course not. I mean just going in the mainframe to run around and shit, not to replay the mission.
The virtual reality makes me think of a mix of Tron and the virtual reality in Ripper.
Did they say somehwere that there was going to be a 'Cheats' DLC. If that is true, I'm going to be pissed, cheating in Saint's Row just made it more fun.
I wonder if you can have full manly nude gangs like the main character.
Did they say somehwere that there was going to be a 'Cheats' DLC. If that is true, I'm going to be pissed, cheating in Saint's Row just made it more fun.
If they actually make one you can use a Trainer instead, assuming one will be made later on.
Did they say somehwere that there was going to be a 'Cheats' DLC. Also wat [img_thumb]http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596948232201050004/44620248B871E71E47DD4A8E97D7ED847C5AE96F/[/img_thumb]
It was a rumor that was never confirmed. So unless they confirm it don't worry.
The thing that worries me is they never really confirmed it was fake, V-Singular just said "Check the front page for news". And in that female gameplay video a couple of the outfits had the names that the rumored DLC packages had, and had the little DLC mark beside them.
IS it just me or does it seem the Oleg is everywhere your MC is? Like he's your bodyguard or something.
The super intelligent super strong european bodyguard thing is a cliche.
and practically everything else in sr3 isnt?
And practically everything in SR, SR2 isn't?
The super intelligent super strong european bodyguard thing is a cliche.
Oleg is suppposed to be a retard, I think
No, I read some time back that in the plot [sp]the syndicate will kidnap Oleg and attempt to clone him, saints rescue Oleg back and the cloning process is borked resulting in strong but stupid half Olegs. Edit: Which will be added to the enemies you fight afterwards[/sp] The real Oleg IIRC is super intelligent and plays chess.
I can't decide which new gang is coolest
Definatly the Deckers.

But yeah you're right, the intelligent-yet-hench bodyguard is definitely cliché. Like Butler in Artemis Fowl. [editline]10th September 2011[/editline] Also: I'm taking out the gangs in the order of their trailers.
I really like Morningstar. Classy as hell. Just ordered this:

I don't think they are gangs, but more like crime organizations or corporations. Very different from a gang, in my opinion.
I don't think they are gangs, but more like crime organizations or corporations. Very different from a gang, in my opinion.
That's exactly what a gang is. From Wikipedia: "A gang is a group of people who, through the organization, formation, and establishment of an assemblage, share a common identity. In current usage it typically denotes a criminal organization or else a criminal affiliation."
Finally pre-ordered. Due to financial circumstances though, it'll likely arrive about a month late since I had to choose all the cheapest options.
That's exactly what a gang is. The Saints in this game aren't a gang anymore, either.
He means they're not a street gang like the Saints or like OGF from San Andreas, and more like a business that does crime.
So, they're like every American business then?
They're gangs but calling them "syndicates" and "mafias" make them sound cooler.
The Saints in this game aren't a gang anymore, either.
except they are, they're just highly marketed. The Saints still do actual criminal activity but upon getting rid of Ultor they rode Ultor's fame and kinda took it over to only benefit themselves, so all the fame Ultor had for being a great company, the Saints got in the form of marketing, advertising, etc. I think what's different is that MorningStar is like...a well respected business, but they do these shady behind the scenes things. The Saints, on the other hand, are known criminals.
