I remember one time I was playing SR2 I started a war between the saints, the police and the ronins (aka full five stars on both and a shitload of squaddies).
It was around the university area, we were just charging around shooting peeps like crazy. I got bored after a while and started driving away, turned into an insane car chase with bullets and rockets flying all over the place, a few police helicopters and I swear even an Ultor tank.
I pulled up to a petrol station and started a ho-ing diversion. While I was fucking bitches, the war was continuing around me - the camera, obviously focusing on the unseen hot action, was still showing bullets and rockets flying all over the place.
It got worse(better) - There were explosions hitting the building itself and people running past on fire, cars crashing and exploding right in front of it, a fucking HELICOPTER landed on top of the building, meanwhile, level 9 ho-ing going on.
Saints row: starting wars, screwing bitches, not giving a fuck

Huh. I installed GOTR and was having fun, but now I have the AR-50 and it's not doing the grenade launcher properly. If I right click he just swings the rifle as a melee attack instead of firing a grenade.
I've tried it with all of the thrown weapons equipped and the same thing happens.
Strangely enough, during the money laundering mission (Where you get infinite ammo for the AR50 and grenades), it was firing firework rockets just fine, but as soon as I quit it, they stopped working.

There are two AR-50's, one with a grenade launcher, and one without, you obviously got the one without it.
Is the Professor Genki pack something you have to get through pre-order, or is it an early unlock of something you could manually earn?

You get it as you progress the game or during an activity :v:
No, you get it if you get a 3 gold stars in gang kill.
So find a lot of enemy gang members in the same location, kill them fast and hope you can rack up 3 gold stars with the streak. After that you will get a notification that you received the ar50.
Edit: you can basically get the best gun in the game right at the beginning.
I did that and didn't get it D8
I got some leather jacket instead.

God DAMNIT
I had the funniest bug right now but FRAPS didn't record it for some reason.
Basically I caught fire but I somehow wasn't taking ANY damage whatsoever, but my character was still flailing around and screaming, kept burning forever.
Thing is whenever I touched someone they would catch fire and die.
I played a whole mission that way, just running up to people and setting them on fire.
Eventually I jumped off a building into what I thought was a pool. It was actually an ankle-deep pond.
The words [B]"You're Smoked!"[/B] were never more appropriate.

Pretty sure the car is in the game and you get it early if you preorder. The gun and suit seem like they could be preorder only or just in the Genki missions, but I'm not sure.

To get the AR50 with the grenade launcher, you must get 3 gold stars in Gang Kills, and then at least 1 bronze star in all other "Combat Tricks" (Nut Shot, Slice and Dice, Head Shot, etc.)

I always thought food was added in the first as a way for people online to recover health during the competitive gametypes.
Since they're focusing on single player/co-op now, it makes sense for them to remove these.

But Saints Row glitches are hilarious! Once I was rolled over so many times by a car that when I teleported away, instead of being my merry self, I was glitched into the ground with my bum sticking out.

Try getting arrested at the nuke plant. The developers made a mistake and instead of sending you to the playable prison, they send you to the place the intro was.
I hope gas stations still launch your car across the city when you hit them.
