Creepiest game 2011.
Really reminds me of Zelda meets SmashTV, though I generally don't care about achievements, for this type of game I think it could have been good (much the same with Super Meat Boy, added a lot of replay value).

nah, you don't need to strafe to shoot a guy that's on your left or right in cod.
Every time I get to the caves the game is like, "hey guess what BULLET HELL MODE"
I would love to be able to use a game pad for this game and to be able to shoot more than 4 directions.
So I just picked it up, despite the steam store page not listing achievements the game does have them!
1st level, find gold powerup room, it's a drop of piss. My fire rate is instantly maxed, and his face turns into this while he shoots out balls of piss now.

I just got a heart upgrade and it made my heart on the outside and it was beating.

So far, I like the game. The random dungeons and different powerups each time make it well worth the $5, but the no checkpoints is a bit annoying.

The no checkpoints is the point of a roguelike. You die and you have to restart.

Whelp. Game crashed half way through my 3 dungeon run, didn't save a thing - secrets unlocked, collectables, etc. Slightly miffed, but it's enough fun I'll be playing it for a while yet.
