I forgot I had a story, a few days ago I managed to get to Mom, but I didn't beat her. But in that playthrough, I unlocked 3 characters. That's pretty cool.

Weird. Very weird, but extremely fun.
Bleghhhh, I was at Mom with the almighty Brimstone + Chocolate Milk combo, but then I got hit by the bug with Bob's Rotten Head that caused me to lose my ability to do anything useful besides parade around holding that stupid head aloft. That's the farthest I've gotten, too.
to unlock cain, do you need to collect a total of 55 pennies in a playthrough, or do you actually need 55 pennies at the same time to unlock him?
55 at a single time
basically play slots all day and hope you get a dollar

Just started playing this, it's a heap better than I was expecting. I like it heluva lot more than Super Meat Boy.
I hate dying in this game simply because you go from this flying beast from hell back to the crying boy and you just feel so sluggish and its gay.

I keep dying in Sheol. There are Horsemen in every room.
Goddamn it the game keeps crashing. It discourages me from playing, since I know that there's a real good chance the game will crash when I'm about to beat it.

God damnit. had brimstone and the book of shadows as maggie and I died on depths 1. I have yet to beat this game. Oh well, lets hope I get a good run next time...
I too just got this game in the humble bundle. Traded a couple of TF2 hats for it. :v:
I think the thing I like most is how much your character's appearance changes while playing. You get some pretty funny combinations

It's not. When you have the book of revelations every boss(excluding both mom fights) you fight is a horseman. The bug was it saying it was the duke of flies and the audio shitting out.

It was a bug. Since it was fixed I've had the Book and still fought Satan.

That was the farthest I've ever gotten. Then the game decided to give me absolutely no hearts...
Eve got re-locked for me, so it looks like I will have to unlock her again.
In other news, I unlocked Cain today. Got lucky on a slot machine.

If you can get it to one, they're easy enough and you can even generate infinite HP if you've got enough time.
These were the ones that fire projectiles. There were four of them. At max speed.
This game is good fun - but I suck at it. Furthest I've got is The Depths 1 and that was with some great luck with power-ups. Cool game - if unusual.
