Just beat Mom for the first time with chocolate milk and brimstone. It took like 10 seconds to beat mom, everything else was killed in one hit.
I like how when everyone first plays the game, they don't get far and think this game is really hard. Then later, they can get to mom most times.

Killed Mom for the first time today. God damn this game is difficult until you get something OP as fuck like brimstone.
Brimstone + Bob's Rotten Head was not OP at all

Is it possible to unlock everything by playing with 1 character? I really like Cain and it seems to make the game a little easier.

I found a Raw Liver in the run I finished yesterday. Boosted me up and over seven hearts so I got Magdeline.
Finally beat my first playthrough, with half a heart left at Mom. This is what Issac ended up looking like for me by the end of it.

Found a bug: if you pause the game just as you are doing the "ITEM GET" animation while in the arena before any enemies spawn all the waves will spawn at once. This is good for absolutely nothing, but it's still a bug.

3rd win. Brimstone is OP as hell. I was even luckier early on with a rock for DMG up, a bunch of tears up items, and the technology, but once I got brimstone, I pretty much won.

Has anyone else found Eve to be really difficult to play? Her two passive abilities she starts with revolve around her taking damage... but she can only take 4 hits before dying, so she can't survive taking much damage, making the two abilities not too useful.
I mean, I'm good at dodging, but 1 attack power really pisses me off, especially when I start in a room where I can't immediately maneuver.
I just got to the womb for the first time. I beelined it to the boss room and I got their with 6 hearts. The boss was Death and, after I killed him and his horse thing, there were three zombie things left. The ones where you have to hit the back of them to kill them. I died with two left. Fuck me
Oh wow I finally beat my first playthrough, and I didn't think I was going to. I beat Mom locked at 1 heart because I accidentally grabbed the dead cat in a Satan room, I had so many upgrades and it was pretty much a perfect run with a ton of damage mods, health and speed etc. I was so pissed but I ended up completing it, I was so jumpy though.
So I got this game a couple of days ago, thanks to the Humble Bundle, and today, I beat Mom's hearth for the first time.
My character was op as hell though.

Eve is the first character I beat the game with. I don't think character selection matters a hell of a lot though, since survival mostly depends on your dodging ability and the luck of which items you get
Oh god I finally beat it for the first time. Using EVE. I had the max amount of hearts going in and only one and half coming out. The bird was a big help. Also had snake tear and two powerups for firing speed. Also unlocked Cain and maggy same playthrough since I found a dollar
