I just played this run for about 1 hour and a half and got to the Shoel.. I felt really good. Then I got greeted by this:

I've tried everything to stop it, have I really lost all my progress?
If so that really sucks.
I've pressed no multiple times now.
just ended the task, it closed and I've lost all my progress from that run. that's really annoyed me how you can play a run for hours and lose it all because of a flash player crash. It's really put me off playing the game again.

Don't think of the cat as 9 extra chances. Think of it as a steam sale for devil items (assuming you get it early enough). I happened to just beat satan with the cat. I died four times, three of them were from trading with satan.
About shitty items:
-Brimstone, the knife, and the fetus in a jar don't stack.
-Chocolate milk + brimstone is weaker than either of the two used separately.
-Wiggle worm makes it so you can't angle shots.
Got 7 hearts, pentagram +2, rock +2, steven +2, Mega Shroom +1, Odd Shroom +1 all to damage, then found moms knife, then found a strength card, had gish and went up against satan with a half heart

I got two cards, devil and sun, first would help me with mom, second would help me in the womb
I've beaten Satan twice, and both times I had Dr. Fetus + Mr. Mega.
I got to the fight room with satan and died almost instantly. I couldn't believe how hard it was. I did take stupid damage I shouldn't have but jeez.

I also had 2 rows of soul hearts offscreen due to having The Book of Revelations and Battery, the combo is so over powered.
Man, I finally made it MOM for once and I get super blasted and die so fast :(
Playing as Cain the only power up I get is speed boosters all the damn time.
I got to the womb 1 as cain with so many items it couldnt list them all, i had two flys and the meat cube orbiting me, along with forever alone fly, then i got tiny mushroom, moms eye, brim stone which disabbled moms eye after i got it, moms shoes, pills out the bum, dead sea scrolls, steven, compass, map, stea sale, magneto, tiny rock, belt, coat hanger, then some worm killed me. I was all FUUUCK YOU WORM
Has anyone found out how to solve the lag issues? Every time there is more than 3-4 enemies on screen the game lags like hell. It delays all the controls by about 3 seconds before actually doing them. I usually play at the lowest level and smallest resolution but it doesn't help that much.
Oh that goddamn Greed. Always taking away them shops when I have money and can actually buy something.

Knowing Edmund, I wouldn't be surprised if the percentage of chances of Greed appearing in stores depends of how much money you have.

I've seen a trainer around, but the most they can do is give infinite health, keys, pennies, and bombs.
Just beat Sheol with Cain. Got Mom's Knife + Radioactive Spider. Awesome
