whoo just beat sheol with maggie
But I do not want to play 1000 times to build a SMB!
But I do not want to play 1000 times to build a SMB!
-snip-
But I do not want to play 1000 times to build a SMB!
If you have the Book of Revelations, a Horseman will spawn in each area.
Oh. OH. So all I need is a Book of Revelations on the first floor and I'll get a 5th form of meat boy?
There is no legit fifth form of meat boy but using the book of revelations guarantees a horseman boss on that depth granted that you haven't beaten the same horseman on the same depth (basement 1&2 for example). The meatboy evolution goes cube of meat -> floating meatboy head -> small meat boy -> big meat boy (this last one unlocks the bandage item) you need to kill famine(basement), pestilence(caves), war(depths), and death(womb) respectively to earn all 4. The fifth version is a glitch caused due to the way the game is programmed. It's actually the familiar you get by using the shears item.

The fifth version is a glitch caused due to the way the game is programmed. It's actually the familiar you get by using the shears item.
All of this is accurate However, I have a few things to add: If you use The Dice in a room where you have defeated one of the riders, anything you get will be a cube of meat, even if you got it from some means other than defeating the boss (like if you use Judgement in the boss room and get an item from the beggar, then use The Dice, that item will always turn into a cube of meat) by exploiting this, it is possible to get more than 4 cubes. If the rider was the Headless Horseman, you have a 50/50 chance of any item (including a cube of meat) turning into a cube or a Pony when you use The Dice. This applies to Secret Rooms as well: any item rolled in a secret room will only turn into an item that could normally be found in a secret room (such as a 1-up or My Little Unicorn). Also, as of the Halloween update, it's possible to get the Super Meat Boy achievement without getting a Super Meat Boy. The achievement only keeps track of your rider kills, not the number of cubes you have, so if you get the Headless Horseman and he drops a Pony instead of a Cube, but you kill 3 other riders, you still get the achievement. I think you can also still get the achievement if you kill 4 riders but don't pick up all the cubes (I personally like stage 2 Cube better than 3 because it does more damage, protects from projectiles, and doesn't fuck up your bombs) I know this from experience; I have the achievement, but I never got an SMB
But the problem is the book of revelations rarely spawns for me.
I think that's the point Also: YEEEESs finally beat it a second time beating moms heart a second time.
I was one hit away from getting spelunker boy godamnit Also Whore of Babylon with ??? is basically full damage the whole game
Finally beat this. Goddamn that took a lot of playthroughs.
Finally beat this. Goddamn that took a lot of playthroughs.
Like get all the endings, or just killed Mom?
But the problem is the book of revelations rarely spawns for me.
When I was going for the achievement, I played as Isaac (so I could reroll items hoping for the Book), and if I didn't get the Book or face a Horseman in the Basement 1 or 2, I just restarted.
How you get Eve? I made two pacts with the devil and I didn't unlock her.
How you get Eve? I made two pacts with the devil and I didn't unlock her.
Were they in the same play through?
Were they in the same play through?
Yes, same playthrough and even I beat mom's heart and nothing.
Yes, same playthrough and even I beat mom's heart and nothing.
Did you do it on two seperate occassions? Walking in and buying two things at once doesn't do it, you have to find the devil twice and make a deal both times.
Mom's Knife + Common Cold is just OP
Did you do it on two seperate occassions? Walking in and buying two things at once doesn't do it, you have to find the devil twice and make a deal both times.
It worked for me though.
I just got brimstone + chocolate milk for the first time and it didn't live up to my expectations. I ended up charging my shots all the time because the uncharged ones barely did any damage. Plus, it was really glitchy. Half the time it wouldn't shoot in the direction I pressed, for some reason. It was really inclined to shoot down most of the time, but sometimes it'd just pick a direction at random. Dr. Fetus + Mr. Mega is way stronger, and more useful since you'll never need bombs with it. And brimstone seems to fuck me over just as often as it's helpful. Like I might get jammed in a corner by those regenerating enemies, or others that chase you, and I have no time to charge a shot before I'm swamped.

Beat moms leg with very good set - FINALLY! Took me so long.
All I'd need to do for golden god is grind the items that haven't dropped on me yet. I have everything unlocked already. Too bad it's kinda boring and repetitive now.
The items that you get are chosen at random, except for secret rooms / horseman battles.
Gotta love Arcade Rooms. I started out with 2 keys, 0 bombs and almost no health. [editline]1[/editline] Whoop, I just beat the game for the first time, first time reaching the womb too.
I just got "Everything's Terrible!". What exactly is harder about it (I haven't tried it yet, btw)?
I just got "Everything's Terrible!". What exactly is harder about it (I haven't tried it yet, btw)?
Champion/Colored bosses are more common, that's about it. I didn't really notice anything to be honest.
