I recently unlocked the "The game just got harder". How does it become harder? More health on enemies, more colored enemies or something?
You know when you fail?
When you die with brimstone in caves 2.

I got "Everything is terrible!" and nothing is really too hard for me. Heck, more colored enemies are better cause they drop stuff on death. Also, what does the Nail do? I eyed it once but I got Brimstone instead for a heart.

Super strength, flight and the ability to break rocks on touch for one room + a few spirit hears per use. It has the longest possible recharge time though.

It does not give you the ability to fly.
It increases size, boosts damage, reduces walk speed, allows you to break rocks and the Challenge Room door, and give you one soul heart.

Killed mom for the first time, also unlocked Eve. Triple Shot + Ouija Board + Homing Shots + Misc Stat Boosting Crap.
My friend was playing before, he had The Bible and the card that teleports you to the boss room. Sadly he died on The Depths I fighting Monstro 2.
Anyone noticed how having piercing shots on moms heart makes the whole fight a walk in the park? :v:
I had Mom's Heart down to almost 1 shot left, when I died from the blast radius. Then I thought "Aww, shit" but I realized something was strange. Then I was like "Oh wait, 1-up" :v:

All I can say is.. wow. Nothing can stop you when you have those items.
Sadly I didn't get to enter the Shoel which was really annoying.
Is there no way to guarantee your way into the Shoel without teleport or shovel?

Just did now. I completed the game as blue baby because I got a bug where no damage could be done to me. I felt cheap exploiting it but... it was blue baby after all.

Okay apparently using the full health pill as ??? makes you invulnerable until you alter your full health with items like dinner. Didn't know that.

Yeah but it still pulled me through till I could get ahold of brimstone so who cares
This last run was particularly devastating.
Ultramaxed fire rate (hanger, 5 or so +fire rate pills, onion)

Maxed damage (pact + mark, Max's head) with chocolate milk.

On top of that, I had parasite, so not only could I fire normal shots ludicrously fast that one or two shotted every enemy in the game except bosses, but they split into two additional shots upon hitting something. I tore satan several new superfluous assholes. The whole fight was done with in less than thirty seconds, and I took no damage.
ON TOP OF THAT LAST TOP I had 10 lives, about 20 or so soul hearts, three flies, maxed speed, nail spam...
Twas' a good run with cain.
