So, I just completed my 3rd run. 1st was done with Cain, 2nd was Maggy, and 3rd was Cain. On the 3rd one, I had Speed, RoF, and Damage all maxed by the time I got to the third floor. I'm on my 4th one right now, also Cain, and I just maxed out my damage, on the 2nd floor. It's looking promising.

Just finished my 3rd run as well, Ending 2 is hilariously morbid ahaha.

I know, it made me sad, but hey, I got a new item out of it. Also Mom's Heart is hilariously easy.

I just unlocked the girl. Such a fun little game, I imagine I will keep playing it over and over until I get all the achievements.

I beat the full game 3 times, and my 3rd time was with Judas with Steven boosting my damage and the mega mushroom for my stats.

So when you max your damage all of your tears turn red. I just bought the piss bullets from a shop. I pee blood [img]http://i.somethingawful.com/forumsystem/emoticons/emot-ohdear.png[/img] 4th run completed, woo. Cain is the best.

Does beating mom not count as "Completing the Full Game"? What constitutes completion? I beat mom, however did not get the achievement for completing the full game.

When I played mom, it was like a ugly leg in a high heel, I defeated that, then the ending scene and the credits rolled? How do I fight Mom's Heart?

The Womb levels are after the Mom fight, the game still continues, you just had to play through it once to unlock the Womb.

Mom's Heart is easier than Mom. All it does it spawn enemies for you to fight, and by that point you an rip through them. Although near the end she starts throwing green bombs. If you find a bible, keep it.

Does the game get harder the more you restart or finish it?

From what I've seen, they add variatons to bosses. I had the one boss that splits into parts and then at the end spawns those maggots that charge you. Instead it was black and it spawned fly bombs.

Since there are achievements for completing the game 9 times, you can imagine it would get hard each time.

Well, I've completed the full game 3 times so far(first one doesn't count, as you can't get to Mom's Heart the first time.), it's really about the luck of the draw and what upgrades you get. Also, don't forget to bomb the miscolored rocks, if you bomb enough, you unlock a small rock that you can only get by bombing more miscolored rocks, the rock gives you +2 damage. So you can possibly end up with max damage by time you beat the first boss.

Just picked this game up today. Something interesting happened. I picked up the golden drop and started pissing rapidly everywhere. Great, business as usual. The interesting part is when I picked up the spider bite. Basically, you get a sore on your head, and your projectiles turn white and slow down enemies. That is the best combination ever.

I've played The Binding of Isaac for over 11 hours..AND STILL I CAN'T EVEN GET TO THE MOM. I must be awful at this. I always get shit items or I don't get the good stuff until I'm super low health.

It really is the luck of the draw Murdoco, sometimes you will play and get no useful items or upgrades, other times by the time you finish the first level you have strong attacks and items that kill bosses close to instantly. It is part of the draw and also why the game has such great replay value.

Start a game and find the first treasure room, if it isn't a damage upgrade, restart. S'what I do.

Anyone know if there's a trainer out yet? Lost all my progress twice :C

I wanna find one just so I can rush through and get all the endings. I've fiddled around with it with cheat engine, no luck though.

I think he means all of his stats and achievements.

This game is awesome. I love the rogue like feature and the miniature story-line to it, the intro actually kind of made me sad....

I can never get past floor 3. :(
