I wouldn't mind running for Congress, how big is the responsability? I'm in Chungcheongam-do http://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/4677822
I'd like to run for congress in Chungcheongam-do.
roland_up is organising English voters for URF, utoronto the Korean.
Is roland informed of FP's involvement, and will he endorse them, or will we have to make a new party?
I'm able to vote now, what should I do?
I'll vote anywhere you want, -snip- too many people running, I'll just vote and aim to be a super soldier or something. Also what are the benefits of buying a newspaper other than telling people my opinion, because I don't really have a strong grasp of the current situation to do an acceptable newspaper.
Do as I did, write about random shit. You'll ge ta good image and, hopefully, some possible allies.
I would like to run in Gangwon-do! Vote for me please!
Is roland informed of FP's involvement, and will he endorse them, or will we have to make a new party?
Only if someone like Smily has told him. Priority with tactical voting tends to go to high level players as they win in the case of tied votes so FP players would be low priority unless you can demonstrate a large amount of votes that comes with it. (I'd assume anyway, I've never been too familiar with roland beyond the odd dealing.)
I'll vote anywhere you want, or run for congress - i'm not really fussed. Also what are the benefits of buying a newspaper other than telling people my opinion, because I don't really have a strong grasp of the current situation to do an acceptable newspaper.
Newspapers are a good way to get more involved with the game, you don't actually have to give an opinion on politics. You can do other things such as RP articles; there used to be one person who made dramatizations of battles and another a war crime tribunal. Also someone from here has been doing articles about sharing musical tastes which provoked a positive response.
I wouldn't mind running for Congress, how big is the responsability? I'm in Chungcheongam-do
It's rather low responsibility compared to what it used to be; you have to vote on laws which you are notified of by alerts and you can grant a person citizenship. You could however if you wanted to write articles about law proposals voicing either your opposition or support and try and get debate going. (Though ever since the country became partisan that can get rather ugly depending on who takes part.)
Hmm, should I run for congress? Does it really help/matter?
