something to test out in a custom match, i highly doubt this is going to be in the game either way. [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] and the video was taken down
Reading the leaked stuff about MW3, It appears the stuff shown in XP was the final list, But there appears to be some hidden stuff, Like this thing. http://forums.digitalwarfare247.com/index.php?/topic/43850-nuke-is-back/ Dont jump the gun, Apparently, This thing requires 25 gun kills, Killstreaks apparently dont count for this.
Meh. Doesn't end the game= fine for me. Besides, 25 kills w/o using killstreaks is extremely hard.
When the game was first announced they said the Nuke killstreak wouldn't be coming back, so I doubt the validity of that information. It might be the gametype they toyed with early on in MW2, where it's headquarters but instead of taking a laptop you're taking a bomb, and when you take it it detonates killing everyone on the map. [editline]31st October 2011[/editline] Look at the guy's fucking posts, holy shit, it's not legit at all. He's calling people jealous whenever they refute his claim. It's probably just a custom game option.

I made a countdown to Modern Warfare 3 video, basically I'll be covering an aspect each day until launch. Go ahead and share it if you like it! <3
Wait that's you? Pretty awesome *subscribed*
Also, possible leaked multiplayer maps http://kotaku.com/5854490/are-these-modern-warfare-3s-multiplayer-maps/gallery/1
Talking about the new modes, custom games, and maps. They changed the sound effects for Kill Confirmed, and they sound a lot better now.
MP7 footage! *.*
http://uk.ign.com/videos/2011/10/25/ign-live-presents-modern-warfare-3 IGN are streaming MW3 gameplay for the next 3 hours atm. The guys from Infinity Ward & Sledgehammer are there also answering questions from twitter, so there's a lot of new footage and information coming from this.
The stream is actually interesting. Regardless of how much shit people give this game, it looks really fun and it definetly did more than added a few new guns.
Watching stream now, actually looks interesting...

Started watching the stream and totally thought it was black ops...
It looks interesting. The Team Defender gametype definitely changes things up. Instead of running all over the map in an attempt to get kills, you're chasing after a guy with the flag, and then they're chasing after your guy with the flag. It's kind of like the bits of Capture The Flag when someone takes your flag, just for the entire game. It's interesting.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fmlv3JYWkeA&feature=feedu APparently, there IS a nuke. Sort of. Half a nuke with an EMP pushed into it. :v:
Started watching the stream and totally thought it was black ops...
I'm sorry but you'd have to be blind or not have played any of the new cods for that to happen to you...

Halo, Timesplitters, Unreal (I think) all had a similar thing, two teams fight for control over an object of some form (a skull, and a bag using my examples), and if your team can hold it long enough, you win. So it isn't exactly a new mode at all, new for CoD maybe, but not innovative. The only difference is how the target is created, which does make it a bit more interesting at the start, and how long it takes to "grab" the target, which should hopefully encourage the morons to help you for once. They've toned down the specular from MW2, but it looks pretty much the same still, and still has the pop-gun sound effects. You cannot deny that at all. That isn't saying it's a terrible game and you should kill yourself, but it just doesn't visibly have many differences. Maybe a slightly larger colour palette?
YES! The "custom class" option in Private Matches is back! YEAAAAHHHH

The flag doesn't even spawn until the fighting starts, so it isn't a rush to the middle of the map to grab it. It probably gets dropped by the worst/most reckless player on the team. I think it looks somewhat different from MW2. I can definitely tell it's a different game, and the weapon models definitely feel different to me.

At least this encourages you to be a bit more careful at the start.

Also, gun sounds. The L116 or whatever, that thing makes a loud-ass noise, and it's very clear when you're being sniped. Another week for this game!

It'll definitely promote staying together as a team. [editline]1st November 2011[/editline]
One big improvement that I like: the running looks different. They changed it. You hold it up and close to your chest rather than pointed down like other guns.
Finally, A CoD I can play. I sold Blops after playing the Multiplayer once, I disliked the shit out of it. Same graphics, nothing really new, not as fun at all IMO.
Looks gewd
YES! No more campers! they will have to go out and get the dogtag in order to confirm the kill!
YES! No more campers! they will have to go out and get the dogtag in order to confirm the kill!
Only in that gamemode though
Only in that gamemode though
Implying every single person camps. I rarely find campers, i don't get the complaints.
