OT: Why do people always bring up the sales of the CoD franchise and use that as means to take potshots and Battlefield? Miley Cyrus & Justin Bieber sell too. Content that was made to appeal to the masses will always sell the most its not rocket science.

I literally have never seen a person bringing up Call of Duty's sales against Battlefield. In my opinion sales mean nothing to the individual. Either you like it or you don't, regardless of how many people bought it.
I bring up the sales to say "Call of Duty is going to sell a shitload of copies.", which is absolutely true.

Expanding on that slightly, just because something does sell well, does not mean it is the better product. Objectively, it sold the most, so there must be a want for it, but whether it is actually good is entirely subjective in most cases (unless there is a majority agreement that is sucks, like the "musical" examples provided).
Also I love the way the UMP seems to be a unbalanced piece of shit again. One gameplay video showed it in use. Killing people in very few bullets, again. Seriously IW, is it really that hard to give it a reasonable downside?

It has shit range. Like, seriously, it has the worst drop-off of any other gun in the Call of Duty games. It goes from doing like 50 damage at close range to 20 at long range, which is a lot less than most Assault Rifles.

It's not so much nitpicking as it is me seeing something in the video that annoyed me in the last game, and commenting on it. Seriously, MW2 devolved into people either using the UMP w/ supressor (for some reason it seemed to lack all damage drop off), Intervention for their ~133T n0CsopeZZ~~ or G18s constantly, even though they were nerfed to all hell.
Trust me, it isn't me being eager to nitpick the game, I can do that without thinking if I wouldn't get reported for trolling just for stating my opinion in this thread. It is just a genuine concern I have from watching a gameplay video.

Yeah, all of the 360 guys ran out to buy PS3s for the sole purpose of modding game data.
When I play MW2, I see a lot of different weapons. I see ACRs, I see M4s, I see the FAMAS, I see F2000s, I see TAR-21s, I see MP5Ks, I see UMPs, I see P90s, and I see a bunch of other stuff too. Like I said, it was on the PS3 version, which does seem to have a more limited userbase.
And yeah, for a few months the game was unplayable thanks to modded gamedata, most of which derived from 360 "hackers" moving to the PS3 to exploit it for a while before it was fixed. You had a higher chance of landing in one of their shitstain lobbies because it was so easy to do, and there were so few players at the time.
Russian keys are not worth the hustle...you don't have english lang, you have to download various files, also every update you have to repeat that...plus constant danger of getting your key revoked or even account disabled...
But also, steam price of 60 euros is ridiculous

It's 2 person split-screen pretty much all around minus local 4 person games and the campaign is once again strictly single player.
