You obviously haven't played anything other then TDM/Ground War on MW2.
There are some very skilled, intelligent players in the COD series. In fact, the mean player is probably better than his BF3 equivalent, since the mechanics are somewhat more simple and harder to fuck up.

So I just came from a midnight launch event at a local Gamestop (I wasn't even buying MW3, just chilling with some friends waiting on line). After about 20 minutes of waiting, me and a friend decide to investigate a nearby "five dollars or less" store that opened recently. So we walk in and what do we see? A wheel barrow full of motherfucking vuvuzelas for just 2$ each.
Long story short, come 12 o'clock, we may as well have been holding the 2011 FIFA world cup in front of that Gamestop. At least thirty kids had gone and bought vuvuzelas.
Needless to say I was quite proud of my handiwork.
