Call of Duty v9 - Still not as shit as BF3! - Games

So it's totally okay to come into the call of duty thread and bash both the game and it's players, but it's wrong to do the same in the Battlefield thread.

I'm not really sure what to say but the game is just fun to play.

I also don't understand what's the deal with comparing BF3 with cod when they are nothing alike. That + the "why play cod when I can play BF3" comments just shows how stupid the haters can get. Basically, if I were to do a game better then BF3 and BF3 was to follow the same path as cod did with DLC (and it already is), the tables would be turned. Metacritic user reviews are the most biased bs I've ever seen aswell. Even worse when they all end in "play bf3 instead" when it basically had a forced-in SP (which people say its better than MW3's, except to me it was rubbish with eyecandy) and plays very much alike BC2. The ignorance is soo big.

Well Dice rehashed pistol animations for all of the pistols, [I]twice[/I] Yeah, in BC2, all the pistols that weren't revolvers, and in BF3, all the pistols that weren't revolvers, had the same reload animation.

Still deciding if I should get this or not, when I turn on my Xbox all I am playing since the 26 october was Battlefield 3, can't really tell if MW3 is worth it.. had fun in black ops but can't turn back after I played Battlefield 3. I like the amount of things MW3 haves, like the battlerecorder and survival and all that jazz but I really need a selling point :(

I'm really missing out on the games this season.. Haven't played one new game just read about them and watched videos. China is gay.

Playing this with my elder brother, it's alright I guess. He bought it for the 360, which I'm not really a fan off. Anyway, he got the limited edition which was a fucking joke. All he got with it was the metal case and the game, that's it. Inside it had some shitty plastic "TOP SECRET" cover for 2 cards saying to enter to win either some dumb iPod dock or a holiday I actually laughed how stupid it was

Not to mention that lots of guns in Bf3 probably handle all the same. At least they did in BC2, hell, even the SMGs acted alot like AR's... I don't think it will be that much different tbh... Shit I don't get it why people hate it this much. I've been playing it ever since it was unlocked and have been having a blast, both in SP and MP without any problems at all.

PLease, is there way to increase fov, i'm not playing on 42" plasma for crying out loud...it affect my eyes AND performance...is there way? atleas in dedicated servers mp?

For the people saying Call of duty is better, or battlefield is better, please shut the fuck up, they are two different games. its all about opinion. ive played mw2 and bc2, i liked them both, mabye mw2 a little bit more, ive played bf3 and mw3, and in my opinion, bf3 is wayy better that mw3. some people might like mw3, some bf3, but its their opinion oh, and why should we care about the gun reaload animations being the same. moat games do this, thats also the way you would reload the similar type or weapon in real life and isnt it about the gameplay? i dont go buying games to see if all the gun reload animations are the same

People just pull shit out of its ass just to make the hatered bigger. Check the metacritic reviews for a laugh or two. Its as if they are reviewing 2 games (mw3 AND BF3, and other games aswell) and then talk about bugs everywhere, which I haven't seen at all. The hate is soo exagerated that makes Hitler, Sadamn and Bin Laden look like mercifull gods at its side. (yes, that big of an exageration)

Just finished the story line, couldn't stop thinking about transformers 3 while playing it.

I love mw3, and I also like BF3. To a lesser extent because it doesn't looks like that big of a deal to me.

Fun thing is, i never said bf3 or bc2 are any better than CoDs. And even funnier thing is that if someone doesnt like that game every CoD fan jumps on them.

I just really don't like a certain large part of the fan base (not you guys), the screechy ten-year olds whose mom bought it for them and who oogle at each other's prestige level and say untrue and rude things about my sexual preferences and about my mother if I even turn on my microphone. And the fact that they can make so much money off of this, considering how similar it is to the past titles. So, how are the Strike Packages? Are they like classes, or more low-profile than that?

I just went to the shop and saw MW3 for the XBOX360 cost $89.90! The XBOX version of BF3 limited edition I bought only cost $75.90. I can understand limited edition being expensive but this is a normal edition box! In Singapore dollars , $89.90 is like US$70.00. How much does a retail XBOX360 or PS3 version of MW3 cost in your country right now?
