Call of Duty v9 - Still not as shit as BF3! - Games

why is that even a big deal?

Just finished playing the SP for about 3 hours. It's fucking fun, far better than MW2 in just about every aspect. The atmosphere is something you wouldn't expect to see in a Call of Duty game, actually quite beautiful and fun to look at. Shit, I'm running the game on all low settings and I still enjoy how the game looks. (It obviously doesn't look as good as BF3's visuals are, but I can't run BF3 high enough to enjoy its visuals anyway!) Some of the cinematic scenes are pretty damn surprising. Like when [sp]the plane splits in half during the Russian President protection level.[/sp] So insanely unrealistic, and that's why I love it. Not gonna touch the MP for a while, gonna stick with finishing the SP and playing co-op with some friends.

Hm, I really like the multiplayer so far. I like kill confirmed (when you get a good team). Really enforces sticking together. Me and my team just stayed in groups of 3 the whole game, we won easily.

If I had a dollar for every time I've seen someone with the "Joint Ops" nameplate, I'd be a rich man.

Well, I played Campaign for about an hour and I've been playing Multiplayer for about an hour. I have to say, the campaign is pretty good. They mix things up a lot and avoid the generic corridor shooting we see in a lot of FPS's. They also shift the protagonist around a lot and I like it. Multiplayer is fun and solid so far. Not frustrating at all, like I've heard.

One had the flag holding game, the other was a mashup of game modes, like the one with the juggerboobs and some kind of "one in the chamber" like game with a 2 round deagle with tac knife. Just beat the campaign. [sp]Alright, what the fuck. Seriously I feel sad, not because of the ending, but because the third act of MW3 had SO MUCH FUCKING POTENTIAL. They could have done so much cool stuff with the set pieces they put forth, like showing a scene where Delta and TF141 link up, or bring MacMillian into the actual game, or other stuff. Honestly it was so disappointing. There was only one fucking level with Wallcroft and Griffen, I expected them to tie up the story with Ghost, Archer, and Toad, and the way they showed Soaps death really made me think he was going to come back. Honestly I am so fucking pissed. It would have been OK if not for that god awful last mission, seriously completely killed the mood of the entire series and have a fucking underwhelming and cliche final fight between the main antagonist and protagonist. I just really didn't like their work with BO.
