I spent $10 to rent this game and i even regret it
Same.
I wonder if Mister Fantasmo will be able to pull off killstreakless nukes in MW3 like he did in MW2.
I spent $10 to rent this game and i even regret it
I spent 10 euro to buy it. Russian steam keys ftw. Anyways what's in the multiplayer update? [editline]9th November 2011[/editline] It's not worth more imho
When did garry change my title goddamnit
I spent $10 to rent this game and i even regret it
Why?
Im buying MW3 just to say I tried them both, so I can fairly compare the two. I'll finish the campaign and then post about how much it sucks.
So after MW3 just becomes old news again, and when the new COD comes out next year, will they even try to change anything to actually make COD look fun again?
So after MW3 just becomes old news again, and when the new COD comes out next year, will they even try to change anything to actually make COD look fun again?
not of this one breaks the records set by black ops [editline]9th November 2011[/editline] which it probably will [editline]9th November 2011[/editline] sadly
Im buying MW3 just to say I tried them both, so I can fairly compare the two. I'll finish the campaign and then post about how much it sucks.
I like how you say you're going to fairly compare the two and then say the Campaign sucks without even playing it. Classy.
So after MW3 just becomes old news again, and when the new COD comes out next year, will they even try to change anything to actually make COD look fun again?
Look at World at War, then look at black ops. If the next one coming out is a Treyarch game it might be different. If the next one is the sledgehammer game, it will be very different.
So after MW3 just becomes old news again, and when the new COD comes out next year, will they even try to change anything to actually make COD look fun again?
i don't know let's just step into the fucking time machine and figure that one out for you. k, back from 2012. apparently everyone is an insect now.
Why?
mainly because i spent ~$75 to buy MW2 and after playing this for a good 5 hours i can't see any differences large enough or good enough to warrant another purchase, or in this case even a $10 rent. To me this feels like a bad MW2 expansion with a slight black ops feel, and a bunch of really, REALLY poorly designed maps. Also the sound design in this game is horrendous. But that's all just my personal opinion. I've been playing Call of Duty since the first once came out in like 2003 and i've seen it change quite a bit that's not all of it i just don't feel like typing out a big review because i'm lazy and don't care ALSO i'm talking 100% about the multiplayer here. I haven't even touched the singleplayer yet, but i've never had any complaints about singleplayer on any call of duty game.
i don't know let's just step into the fucking time machine and figure that one out for you. k, back from 2012. apparently everyone is an insect now.
Im pretty sure i dont need a time machine to predict what the next COD will be, it will be like MW3, and then make all the money again in a November release. I call it. Dont worry guys, once this series gets a few more sequels, it will suffer like Guitar Hero did.
Title needs to be changed quick!
Im pretty sure i dont need a time machine to predict what the next COD will be, it will be bland and make all the money for November which will be its release.
well then don't buy it. solved all your problems there
I like how you say you're going to fairly compare the two and then say the Campaign sucks without even playing it. Classy.
I said how much it sucks, I could say "It does not suck at all" or "It does not suck that much" or "It sucks fucking cock". Since this is supposed to be a direct sequel, if I hear any obvious recycled sounds I'll bring it down to atleast mid-range sucking. This isn't a expansion pack it better live up to its name as a standalone game.
Ignore users trying to start shitstorms, report and move on.
Words to live by. People posting metacritic scores of MW3 and BF3 in the CoD megathread are trolling for responses, that simple. They are both good games and deserve to be played equally. As for MW3, played some spec ops with a friend. We did half of the missions and a game of Survival. The missions are standard fair and most of the archetypes from MW2 are in this one. Survival is really fun. I never got into the zombie mode for W@W or Black Ops because I find shooting zombies to be boring, but Survival is definitely something I can see myself coming back to again and again. I was a huge sucker for horde mode in Reach.
once this series gets a few more sequels, it will suffer like Guitar Hero did.
I'm pretty sure the amount of Call of Duty games has surpassed Guitar Hero, and each one is selling better than the last. Yeah I'm totally sure it's gonna randomly end in a few sequels.
I'm pretty sure the amount of Call of Duty games has surpassed Guitar Hero, and each one is selling better than the last. Yeah I'm totally sure it's gonna randomly end in a few sequels.
I dont see any reason to justify a 60 dollar purchase for MW2 and MW3, and people are gonna finally see its the same old garbage, as if its a new Madden game every year.
They are both good games and deserve to be played equally.
eh to be honest i was massively disappointed by BF3. maybe it's because everyone hyped up BF3 to be absolutely amazing when it didn't even come close to what made BF2 so great. it was about as good as BC2, okay, not great. on the other hand i'm totally not-hyped for MW3 so when i play it i'll probably enjoy spending 1000 hours into the multiplayer proving that i'm not a fag.
I'm pretty sure the amount of Call of Duty games has surpassed Guitar Hero, and each one is selling better than the last. Yeah I'm totally sure it's gonna randomly end in a few sequels.
There's actually ~22 guitar hero games, not counting the DJ hero spinoffs and such. I hope the CoD series never reaches that milestone
I dont see any reason to justify a 60 dollar purchase for MW2 and MW3, and people are gonna finally see its the same old garbage, as if its a new Madden game every year.
or maybe, just maybe, they buy games because they genuinely enjoy the content on the disc. i know that's crazy right? it's like, i don't like sports games, yet somehow people still buy Madden. how that happens i don't know. you can't explain that. [editline]8th November 2011[/editline]
I hope the CoD series never reaches that milestone
pfah sonic youth has more records than that. 22 is nothing
or maybe, just maybe, they buy games because they genuinely enjoy the content on the disc. i know that's crazy right? it's like, i don't like sports games, yet somehow people still buy Madden. how that happens i don't know. you can't explain that.
Yeah i really cant explain it. People like to be fed the same game every year and rave about it when its nothing special, i dont care about the game, the fans and people talking about it make it sound better than it is, which it isnt and is why i stopped at MW2.
Yeah i really cant explain it. People like to be fed the same game every year and rave about it when its nothing special, i dont care about the game, the fans and people talking about it make it sound better than it is, which it isnt and why i stopped past MW2.
The reason they make it sound better than it is is because they actually like it and you don't. Seems pretty obvious. People like video games you don't like. You are going to have to come to that reality at some point.
Who changed the title of this thread?

Fantastic reasoning.
Who changed the title of this thread?
garry, to stir up shit. watching the BF3 thread react seems to have fulfilled that plan.
The game i used to love isnt there anymore, so dont tell me i dont like COD either.
idk you are the one in the CoD megathread talking about how bad the game is.
Who changed the title of this thread?
Gary.
The new one needs a new engine. Seriously, I'm playing MW3 at max and it looks like arse. Just like Delta's screenshot.
