Really? Are you seriously implying that I don't know how to use the options menu? I am not the only person experiencing these problems. No need to be a complete dick over it.
I had the same problem too, go to your config_mp and setting texture quality to 4 or 5 makes it a little bit better.
I've been enjoying the hell out of this game and, as expected, this thread is full of arguing instead discussing the game. I love the new Weapon levels. I think they're a pretty neat edition and varies up gameplay.
Pretty sure i just saw a title with pinup furries HELL NO [editline]9th November 2011[/editline] What do weapon levels actually add... ?

Outpost is a shitty map
So is this worth buying for PC if I had MW2 on xbox and disliked it because of kids + maps?
So is this worth buying for PC if I had MW2 on xbox and disliked it because of kids + maps?
Uh, well, it has different maps, and I don't see why you would hate a game just because kids play it. Go for it, I guess.
The story was fun. [sp] Depressing as fuck to see pretty much everyone die[/sp] What happened to the Brits? I played as Burns once. DLC?
The story was fun. [sp] Depressing as fuck to see pretty much everyone die[/sp] What happened to the Brits? I played as Burns once. DLC?
COD has never had single player DLC. Doubt it ever will.
Tell me if I'm right; Pistols will hardly be used in MW3, much like in BO/MW2? And an answer like "No way I like pistols, I struggle with them!" won't count.
Tell me if I'm right; Pistols will hardly be used in MW3, much like in BO/MW2? And an answer like "No way I like pistols, I struggle with them!" won't count.
I used pistols as a sidearm in MW2, just as they were intended to be. Occasionally I used it more as a primary for challenges, but overall the dynamic between the two slots was fine.

Most of them can two-shot people in the chest at close range, so they're really great to have around.
The game runs great compared to black ops, but it's like fuzzy and shit.
I stopped playing CoD at MW2, but I have to say [sp] It's kind of sad that it SEEMS to all be coming to an end. I haven't played it, but I watched a playthrough on YT. Soap's death was quite unexpected, I knew one of the pair would die (Soap and Price), but I wasn't expecting it to be Soap. MW1 was a great game, the image of CoD has just been obscured over the past few years. Starting as Soap and being there till the very end was quite sad when I watched it. I wonder where the series will end up going, now that WW3 is over, Makarov's dead and there's peace between the countries and Russia? Still sad Soap died, though people will say he's a one dimensional character, I'll still remember the impact CoD4 ending had on me. It's been 5 years since MW1 and though people bash CoD, it's still given me a LOT of memories and good times. [/sp]
Modern warfare 3 is shit to me, its all about camping and knifing and noobtubing and killing someone when they DONT expect it. And the weapons is vanilla, I fucking love the campaign though. And i only like 1 Multiplayer map, the other ones is boring.
Oh god what. In the beginning, in the zodiacs. You shoot the mines off the back of a russian ship right? When the ship explodes, you can still see the mines on it when the smoke clears. LOL.
Modern warfare 3 is shit to me, its all about camping and knifing and noobtubing and killing someone when they DONT expect it.
Next time I'm on Multiplayer I'll make sure to only kill people when they DO expect it.
I love Battlefield 3 And I also love MW2 They are like two completely different games, this one is fast paced quick action. BF3 is really open, team based, more strategic. I am glad I tried it out rather than just bashing it. Could be alot worse...
Pistols switch to faster than any other secondary which is something you can't go without. If the enemy has a machine pistol and you have a handgun and you both run out of ammo in your primaries, you have the advantage.
all of my good memories of the recent call of duties (call of duty 4 and later) are from call of duty 4 to be honest. Just the jump from the WW2 genre to modern was huge since I was playing call of duty since the first one, and they did cod4 really well. I still think it's the best of the series aside from maybe call of duty 2, but i had countless hours of fun playing with friends on cod4

You would probably like MW3 then, since it plays a lot like CoD4.
Actually pistols are pretty fucking good in MW3. Most of them can two-shot people in the chest at close range, so they're really great to have around.
Seen a few videos already and no pistols, but okay I'm glad pistols play a good role in MW3.
All of your good memories post CoD4 are from CoD4. You would probably like MW3 then, since it plays a lot like CoD4.
That's my point. After CoD4 It felt like none of them got it right. Now when i go back to play CoD4 it's filled with hackers :( and i've put about 5 hours into the multiplayer in MW3 and it feels nothing like CoD4 to me

It feels almost exactly like Call of Duty 4 to me, just with a blend of some MW2 elements in there.
Just thought I'd drop in and say something: BF3 is nothing like MW3. MW3 is nothing like BF3. There is no better game. Now stop claiming there is.
big rigs is nothing like oblivion oblivion is nothing like big rigs oblivion is the better game
RustySpannerz;33190764']I think people are getting far too worked up about small things. First off, MW3 looks nothing like CoD4. Everyone who says it looks worse is stupid. CoD4: MW3: Trust me, I've just been playing both games exclusively the last 2 or 3 days. Issues like low res textrues aren't a game breaking thing, and sometimes are useful. I would much rather get a high amount of performance than super quality dirt. Visual though, what I can fault it on is the lighting, it's still not there to compete with other modern day engines, including Source. Visuals I can understand, but I see some people nitpicking things like people having too much blood, or enemies talking normally with crazy knife wounds. Oh yeah, and reused assets, I've never seen anyone complain that Valve are still using the same models in Episode 2 that they used in their 3 year old game, Half-Life 2. And that's the same case here, the same models and textures are used for continuity. It would be stupid, and a waste of time to come out with something completely new for ever game in a trilogy. I personally loved the campaign, as short as it was. It tied up all the loose ends and felt like an action blockbuster. That's really all I was looking for. Now to try out the multiplayer!
MW3 looks just like MW2, not MW1. And it took the same amount of time to go from CoD2 to CoD4 as it did MW2 to MW3. I'd expect similar results this time around, considering especially they have more money, recouses and experience this time around.
big rigs is nothing like oblivion oblivion is nothing like big rigs oblivion is the better game
Big Rigs is fucking awesome, what are you talking about.
big rigs is nothing like oblivion oblivion is nothing like big rigs oblivion is the better game
I have enjoyed Big Rigs 10x more then I have with Oblivion.
just 4 fucking hours of sp, lol
