I wish there was mail on weekends, have to wait until at least monday before it gets delivered. I'm really worried about their being a mix up with the mail however because the mailman always delivers my letters to the neighbor.
Not sure if this has been posted, but I just noticed it.

Why didnt they made mistake with the Brady Guide itself so the game would be only 20$
[sp]I liked the campaign, it wasn't predictable because I turned off my thinking cap just for the purpose of feeling engaged, was a great time overall, very exciting. Though my one complaint is the endless combat, wish there was just some bits where you could calm down and do something else, but that's COD for ya. Multiplayer is great, same addicting fast paced gameplay, I give it a solid 8.5[/sp]

The stealth segments in Campaign were a nice break, in my opinion. Especially because there were quite a few of them.

Oh, and for the guy saying [sp]that you stab Makarov in the throat while hijacking his helicopter because it was only a two-seater, look again. You see Makarov get in, and he gets in a small compartment in the back of the helicopter. You dump the pilot and stab the co-pilot.[/sp]

Also the clothes the co-pilot is wearing is different to what Makarov wears.
WW2 has been done and dusted. I remember CoD4 was a breath of fresh air from the 100000 WW2/Vietnam shooters already released.
100000 Vietnam shooters? There are barely any Vietnam-based games, you could probably count them on the fingers of your one hand.
Did it seem to anyone that they cut some missions from the singleplayer, so they could put them in spec-ops and make them feel "new"? I mean, the training mission feels like it should have been at the start, both CoD4 and MW2 had missions like that and the one mission where you sit in the back of the truck, being chased by russian jeeps and you have that seperate grenade launcher was in one the trailers, so why would they put a spec-ops mission in the trailer?
All this talk about Mw3 makes me want to pick up Mw2 again fro a bit, but I still suck so bad I just have to turn off the game all the time in anger.

Just to hype it up and make it seem longer i guess, i havent touched Spec-Ops yet. I could understand the whole "straight into the action" thing though. Seeing that America is getting ravaged, There just wouldnt be enough time to train up, Unlike in MW1 and 2 where there wasnt such a huge event going on.
I still think MW3 is slightly shorter than MW2 though.
After playing a while of MW3 i can say is that its a typical CoD game, not that good not that bad. Fun to play, but thats it.
The storyline is meh, too tiring to play, just makes you to go and go and go just so you end it for the sake of nature.
Multiplayer is fucked up at parts, especially everyone running around and not even aiming down the sights but killing you. Also the maps feel dull and dont have that amazing touch MW2 maps had. Heck, even Blops maps had better visualisation.
A total of 4/10. A game to be played with friends only and multiplayer fun.

I am still hard thinking of getting it, but if I want to have an fun war then I play battlefield 3.. I can't decide if I should get COD just for the quick stupid mindless multiplayer fun.. hmpf.
It took me 4 hours to finish the campaign. It says I have 50% finished, is the last 50% the intel?

On Normal i presume? I played it on Veteran and got about 12 intel and had 90.8%.
Who here loves the G36C and the PP90M1?

see I take it you're using a linear 1-10 scale, not a. ign 1-10 scale for that rating
people need to keep that in mind, 4/10 means it's mediocre, can still be fun, but not great not bad, 5/10 being the middle point between shit and amazing etc.
Shame it has to be 7-10 in all video game reviews these days, can't tell if anything is actually gonna be good or not based on scores anymore
I'm loving the ACR. Awesome weapon to use, but I feel lots of people will use it.
Has anybody tried the MP-7 yet? I tried it in spec ops and in a private match, the game says it has the same accuracy as the second to last SMG you unlock, which is really hard to stay on target with.. and yet, I didn't really notice the MP7 having bad accuracy, it seemed to fire straight w/o recoiling. I'm level 67 so I'm close to unlocking it, but I don't want to be disappointed with it, soo.. just hoping somebody has tried it.
Also, the part [sp]where you have to try and save Soap after you fall, Price's reaction the entire time through is really great. Considering all three of us almost died trying to save soap, it was pretty dedicated. I used to think Price was just a ruthless old man. That changed my mind[/sp]
I remember something: [sp]near the end of the Subway mission, Baseplate says "Bollocks, nothing takes 5 minutes!"[/sp]
That's a line from Black Hawk Down :v:

I hope the Mp-7 is good. I want to make it my main smg, but the PP90M1 is pretty good aswell.
Just got MW3. It's... absolutely nothing that special. Connection is kinda bad at times, and every time I run into someone, no matter what I do, I always die.
Brings back memories of MW2, at least. [sub][sub]Bad memories...[/sub][/sub]
100000 Vietnam shooters? There are barely any Vietnam-based games, you could probably count them on the fingers of your one hand.
He's right. Off the top of my head we had: Vietcong and it's expansion, Vietcong 2, Line of Sight Vietnam, Battlefield: Vietnam, Men of Valor and... That's about it?
I really want the next game to be Zombies only, and have a semi-unretarded story line. The first missions would be in WWII with Richtofen, Nikolai, Dempsey and Takeo (played respectively), and then you could skip forward a few years to the testing of the Tsar Bomba, which could be a cool "Operation Hammerdown" to clense a Zombie infested facility. Then skip forward to the late 90's, and I guess Saddam could have some 115 on hand.

MP7 = weapon of Gordon Freeman
:O
Nothing else will sell anymore, I think with MW3 theres everything in the COD series, they cant rehash MW anymore, space game is left, middleages and the really good idea of a full zombie cod so there will be content for zombie cod and MW3 because nobody needs to leave MW3 for another type of game.
I called my Shotgun class "The Berserker", Pretty much charge straight into someone and hope for the best.
The Spas is useable, Although its a bit harder to use than in MW2. I hope the Damage proficiency makes a different though...
