The pro effect sounds way OP. You'd basically be a walking portable radar.
Hardcore mode has no health regen? That would suck to get a deagle tag on the arm then go the rest of the game with a red screen not being able to hear anything.

The audio effects fade, but the red screen doesn't. There's no health regen.
I kinda like Hardcore, I just wish there was less camping. It feels a lot like CS to me.

Just a heads up: the KSG actually does get good and have its huge ammo count worth it after you put extended mags and damage on it.
Speaking of extended mags, 1 more level for damage proficiency on the SPAS. Range already makes it pretty good, its gonna be even better after.
The KSG9 is fine. I've gotten MVP more than once while using it, in both Deathmatch and Objective gametypes. You just have to learn to close distance and memorize the distance you one-shot kill from, and you'll be topping the scoreboard with it in no time.

You could just, like, I don't know? Not gold every weapon in the game? It doesn't show dedication, or skill, or ability of any form. It just shows you give far too much of a fuck about statistics and boasting instead of enjoying the game.
I still don't give a fuck that I never even passed Digital on any weapons on MW2. It just isn't worth ruining what little fun the game is over.

It's not even about stats. All you need to do to get a gold gun is use it until you hit 31 with it. You don't need to get a single headshot, or even that many kills.

It gives me a sense of accomplishment in this game. Considering I wasn't 14th prestige in black ops and wasn't really good enough in COD4 for the gold guns, I want to get them all gold because it's easier doing it this way.

It sort of isn't.
Unless you use damage and extended mags, sometimes even at almost point blank range, it will need 2 shells.
Shotguns here are kind of like the striker or the 1887's post patch without stopping power on mw2. They hit, but they only make a scratch.
And you need more or less 500 kills to reach Lv.31 with a gun.

Every time I get a gold gun I use it one game and then work on another gun. Just got the golden 1887.
Idk, I'm not gonna be all like "MW3 fucking SUCKS!!!", but I feel like CoD is slowly dying, it least when it comes to the MW series. It's almost like it's a chore to play MW3. I know I can stop playing it anytime but I just try and try to enjoy it the most that I can. I do enjoy it, but it's not the same that games used to be. The CoD4 days were the glory days. I could give less of a shit about stats, 12 year olds saying "I fucked your mom", hackers, dropshotters, etc. and just enjoy the hell out of the game. Maybe it's a sign I shouldn't play games very much anymore. Idk, I just rage quit and turned my xbox off and had no desire whatsoever to even turn the xbox back on. I'll play it in a little while.
