A VPN is just a proxy to make it look like you are in Russia. It's legal. I gave them my account info which worked fine.
No ban, in English.
They are fine, I've bought from them a lot.
Why does one prestige token get you two hours of extra xp? Why would someone ever pretige just to get 2 hours of double xp? It makes no sense.
I haven't used one on double XP since day 1. They're better to use when you're having difficulty leveling up. Like around 75-80. They help a lot during that time. Also, Colton, could you tell me how I could find my laptop's specs from the desktop? I'd like to know if there's a possibility to play BF3 or MW3 on it.
I prestige in Black Ops, should I get a have gotten a token for it?
Also, download Speccy and post the information it tells you.
Idk, I'm not gonna be all like "MW3 fucking SUCKS!!!", but I feel like CoD is slowly dying, it least when it comes to the MW series. It's almost like it's a chore to play MW3. I know I can stop playing it anytime but I just try and try to enjoy it the most that I can. I do enjoy it, but it's not the same that games used to be. The CoD4 days were the glory days. I could give less of a shit about stats, 12 year olds saying "I fucked your mom", hackers, dropshotters, etc. and just enjoy the hell out of the game. Maybe it's a sign I shouldn't play games very much anymore. Idk, I just rage quit and turned my xbox off and had no desire whatsoever to even turn the xbox back on. I'll play it in a little while.
Each Call of Duty game is selling more copies than the last, and is constantly breaking records. Say what you will about the quality of the game and how much you like it, but to say that the franchise is 'dying' is just ignorant.
What's a VPN and is it legal? I read that it will be region free after I VPN it and I can download it anywhere from my account. Will my game be in english? Will I get banned or anything?
Once it is activated, it is region free. You can delete the game and reinstall it any time just like a normal steam game.
The game will be in English, but you can always choose to change the language options as you would any other game. Mine automatically selected English, for once I activated the key with my vpn, I turned the vpn off and then started to download the game.
I have used vpns several times and have not been banned.

The quality is stagnating, but the franchise is very much alive.

Don't get upset over it. I'm only speaking on my behalf and experience with the series.

His point was that the franchise is thriving at the moment, not dying.

I'm not upset, I'm saying you're wrong when you say it's dying. It's not.

So how do they get the game so cheap? My dad always checks out what I buy online before I do and he'll probably say "you'll get banned don't do it"

They buy them in bulk from their suppliers, I don't know who those suppliers are but that's basically how it works. Someone else could give you a more detailed explanation. But if you have any doubts intkeys is legit, I bought a ton of games from them (two copies of mw3, saints row: the third, and red orchestra 2). If you do decide to go through with it use this coupon code for 6% off: "au8s92na0ka71" without the quotes, obviously. Just remember it takes up to 24 hours to deliver the key, I got Saints Row in literally under 10 seconds, MW3 took maybe 15 hours, and RO2 took 4 hours. It just depends on them because most keys are sent manually.
Okay. I'll just show him the FAQ and About us tabs. I guess I'll buy it soon.
Oh cool I get $1.30 off wit that coupon, thanks.
Is it paypal only or can I use an american debit card?

You can use your debit card through paypal.
You can use your debit card through paypal.
Can I then remove it after so paypal doesn't keep my info?
Can I then remove it after so paypal doesn't keep my info?
Yeah, it could still be in a database somewhere but you can remove it from your account.
Picked up someone's dropped FMG-9 akimbo.
Got a multikill with it :v
I'm not upset, I'm saying you're wrong when you say it's dying. It's not.
Okay, you're not upset. But when I say it's dying for me, I think it's my right to say that. I have my own opinion and it's that CoD is not giving me the satisfaction that it used to. Telling me I'm "wrong" does not make sense being that it's the way I look at it. I said "I feel like CoD is dying", didn't just go out on a limb and say it was. Let's cool it, we're misinterpreting each other. Back to whatever we all were talking about. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I do understand that CoD, is indeed, a very big title and very much intrigues millions of people out there. It's really no big deal, and there's no need to make it one.
Getting closer to gold on the M4A1. Only level 27 or so right now.
Getting closer to gold on the M4A1. Only level 27 or so right now.
Level 31 requires more XP than the next 3 levels three times over.
I have a level 30 MP7 that I carried over from 2nd prestige. I always get some guns to level 30 and never 31. I've never even had a gold gun, I'm determined to get this MP7 gold though.
Does "gear unlock" in prestige shop just unlock one weapon?
Does "gear unlock" in prestige shop just unlock one weapon?
You can unlock one thing from create-a-class forever. It can be a weapon, an equipment, a tactical equipment, a perk, a deathstreak, a secondary, whatever. You also keep it if you prestige in the future. If you're planning on prestiging and wish you could keep something with you and not have to unlock it, use 'gear unlock' to keep it with you forever.
I kind of hate how when you unlock gear and level it up and then prestige again, it resets it back to 1. I though it would carry the levels over.
I'm slowly starting to regard Treyarch as the better COD developer. How can IW get weapon balance so wrong and forget everything they should have learnt from MW2? All the automatic ARs feel the same, M16 is so underpowered it's pathetic, the other burst weapon (Type95) is ridiculously OP, LMGs and shotguns are basically useless, sniper rifles are easy mode and of course there has to be an overpowered akimbo weapon. I know Black Ops had the Famas that they eventually nerfed, but this is much worse.
I also think it was a bad idea to integrate "stopping power" into the base damages, at the most they should have met it half way.
Shotguns get increadibly useful after Lv.28. I hope they don't correct the extended mags extra pellets.
After heated discussion on SPUF about fov fixer made by AgentRev, BurtonJ stepped and told us he will test it and then tell us if we are allowed to use it...
So yeah, there's still hope...and yet one more reason why i respect valve so much, fricking game developers didnt give a SH1T about it, and third party had to step up...stay classy valve

Yeah for all the shit i gave treyarch for blackops it seems like mw3 was such a step in the wrong direction for the series, a chore to play.

Thankfully it was the end of the Modern Warfare series. Or, hopefully. I just want them to do something new already. Yes the IW engine is good, I'm also a fan of the Quake 3 engine, they can use that all they want, but the same stuff all over again? Really, making a new game is as easy as going in to the text files, editing values, pasting in a few skins, rearranging events and motions for the campaign and doing voice overs.
On another note, overpowered and underpowered weapons are inevitable. When they pack so many weapons in to the game, they feel the need to have each of them not be the same as each other to avoid redundancy, so some turn out better than others. And overpowered weapons is the perfect counter-measure for less skilled players hating the game because they can't get a kill, it's just that too many people use them.

Still doesn't stop them from not making the mistake IW did with MW2, but they completely missed that.
To me, MW2 was an inevitable sequel. For an FPS sequel it's pretty fulfilling, there's as much the same and as much change as required. MW3 plays like MW2 more than MW2 plays like CoD4
