i have always enjoyed Treyarch´s CODs more than IW´s
dunno, treyarch gives you more content and better support. BO all the way and WaW is a masterpiece. COD3 had an awesome MP

Are you shitting me?
Single player of WaW was good and it had a lot of neat features, but the multiplayer, which a lot of people buy CoD for, is an unbalanced piece of shit, and got pretty much no post-launch support besides map packs.. I fail to see how they give you more content. It's roughly the same. They give you single player, co-op, and multiplayer, just like Infinity Ward does. They also never gave much in the sense of support until Black Ops, which is a single game. Infinity Ward is giving support in MW3, which is also one game, so they're tied in that sense.
Like, I can get liking Treyarch and their games, but, saying they give more content or that they give better post-launch support honestly doesn't have much of a base. They're about tied with Infinity Ward, in those areas.
I like all the CoD's about evenly except MW2, that one seemed to have more than a few glaringly poor game design issues.
i played a few rounds now my brother is burnt out for now, holy shit this game is terrible
As if you needed another reason not to play MW3:

I would recommend muting the audio, unless you want to hear a 14(?) year old nerd who is proud of his ability to exploit a broken gameplay system. Though, no matter how broken the spawn system is, it's not helped by the claustrophobic design the maps have.
Cod 4 and W@W are hacked shitfests on Xbox so no reason to play them.
Bloops is better than mw3
Mw3 is the only one where I have had problems with the matchmaking ( it's been more than. Month and I can count on one hand how many games of ground war I've played.)
Overall Im pretty bummed out by the new cod and hope the next one is better.
I'm done with CoD games. Got mw3 and am happy with it. I don't think none of them can top cod4, so thats sort of a no go for me.
went 11/5 with RPG/Grenades/Matrydom/Knife only on a 5v5 CoD4 S&D match.
RPG x2, Sonic Boom, Matrydom.

Call of Duty is OK.... but it gets a bit repetitive...
I'll summarize Call of Duty for you guys...
So this guy, who will betray you, opens with this pretentious speech about war and how it's important to know how to use the weapons of Modern Warfare. See what he did there?
Anyway, while undercover in Moscow, you kill a bunch of innocent people and delay their flights. Makarov then shoots you out of jealously, because you got the achievement* for killing the most civilians.
In retaliation, Russia then invades America, proving that the United Nations is about as useful as a blind service dog.
You then look for Rojas, because he and Makarov were best buds. He almost gets away, but Paul Walker** makes a cameo appearance and tackles the guy through a window.
Infinity Ward then fucks a hole in the fourth wall by showing the emergency broadcast system just to scare the shit out of anyone that thinks they sat on the remote.
Sergeant*** Price then launches an EMP missile for Washington D.C., because he couldn't use the Goldeneye as it was under repair.
Back in D.C., all the Rangers are all like, "Whoa! Our holographic sights don't have dots, bro."
After downloading Makarov's porn, you get betrayed by General Shepherd who shoots you and Ghost and uses your body to roast marshmallows.
MacTavish and Price then team up to make sure history is written correctly and not by General Shepherd (who lacks a history degree).
When Shepherd is cornered, he CQCs**** your ass and is all like, "FUCK YOU." So then you're like, "FUCK YOU" and throw a knife in his face.
Nikolai then is all like, "Vat are you doing?" and you're like, "I'm finishing the fight." Credits!
1941: Hours after killing General Shepherd, Captain John Lennon and Nikolai The Drunk Vodka Guy evacuate a dying John "Soap" MacTavish to a safehouse run by Nikolai’s allies in Himachal Pradesh, India. While Soap receives medical attention, a large group of men under Vladimir The Nutcase Makarov's command, storm the safehouse in attempt to kill the three. A soldier named Yuri, aids Price in giving Soap medical attention, securing a safe route to the extraction point out of the country.
The Russian invasion of the United States continues, culminating the Battle of Lower Manhattan. A Delta Force team call-sign “Metal” under the command of Sandman is deployed in New York City to repel the Russian assault along the East River. Team Metal succeeds in destroying a jamming device mounted on the rooftop of the New York Stock Exchange building and escapes on a Black Hawk helicopter and later assists the U.S. Navy SEALs in boarding a Russian Oscar Mayer II to use its hot dogs against the Russian Navy. As a result of Team Metal's actions, the Russians withdraw and ate American hot dogs from the East Coast, and presumably, the US as a whole.
Two months later, Russian President (Insert Name here) announces plans to make sure America and Russia stops fighting each other at a summit in Hamburg, Nazi Germany. During the announcement, men loyal to Makarov sabotage the plane. Agents from the Office of Strategic Services are able to escort (Insert Name here), and (insert name here)'s daughter out of danger, but (insert name here) himself is kidnapped.
With Soap largely recovered from his injuries, using Water. Yuri gives Lennon intelligence about an arms deals involving Makarov in Sierra Leone. Task Force 141 - now consisting of only Price, Soap, and Yuri - head to one of the storehouses only to find the contents of the warehouse empty. The three push their way into a church situated in the center of town, but are too late in retrieving the cargo. Coming across a shipping manifest, Price learns that there are three packages that contain chemical weapons being distributed across Europe, meant to be used for assaulting Paris, Berlin, and London. Price covertly informs his former mentor, Captain MacMillan, of his findings and asks for intelligence as a favor for Pripyat; this leads them to a local warlord in Somalia.
Meanwhile, a British SAS team led by Sergeant Wallcroft is deployed to prevent the use of one of the chemical weapons payloads in London. They secure the dockyards and pursue the terrorists through the underground metro system. The SAS team destroys a truck suspected to carry the chemical weapons, only to discover it is a decoy. The actual truck carrying the bomb detonates elsewhere in London. Dozens of other chemical attacks are revealed to have been successfully conducted in major cities throughout western Europe. In Hamburg, Team Metal is deployed to rescue the Vice President of the United States, being aided by M1 Abrams tanks in the area, after the Russian military launches a land invasion of Nazi Germany immediately following the chemical attacks.
Present Day: Task Force 252, and Nikolai’s men assault the warlord’s village in Somalia, where they learn from the warlord that he made a physical transaction with a bomb-maker named Volk in Paris. Operating on the intelligence acquired by Price, Team Metal executes a joint operation with the French GIGN to capture Volk. Team Metal is successful in the operation, albeit at the cost of the Eiffel Tower’s destruction. Volk gives up information about a meeting held by Makarov in Prague. With the aid of Kamarov, Price, Soap, and Yuri The Good Russian (FINALLY) infiltrates the city with the intention of killing every Communist and killing Makarov. Lennon takes a position in the Hotel Frog, while Soap and Water and Yuri provide cover from a nearby church. However, the assassination attempt goes D'OH when Makarov takes Kamarov hostage, revealing that he is aware of Yuri’s alliance with Soap and Water. The church is rigged with explosives and detonated, sending Yuri and Soap falling to the ground, while Price barely evades a bomb-laden Kamarov. Yuri survives, but Soap is wounded. The three take refuge in a nearby resistance safehouse, where Soap succumbs to his wounds after telling Price about Makarov’s knowledge of Yuri. Enraged, Lennon punches Yuri down a flight of stairs and threatens to execute him. Through flashbacks, Yuri describes his role with the Russian Communists, having been present at Lennon’s attempted assassination mission of Zakhaev, the nuclear detonation in the Middle East, and the airport massacre in Moscow. Yuri attempted to prevent the massacre, but was wounded by Makarov before it happened. Price decides to keep the alliance with Yuri, and the two follow up a lead on Makarov’s suspected fortress. Lennon and Yuri infiltrate the Communist Team Fortress and learn of President Hitler’s captivity, as well as recent intelligence that the President’s daughter is in Berlin. Price and Yuri destroy the base and relay the intelligence to Team Metal. Team Metal acts on Price’s findings and attempts to reach the safehouse where (Insert Name)'s daughter has taken refuge, but they are too late to prevent her capture. She's still 13 years old, and then suddenly she's kidnapped by some Russian dude who takes her to the bathroom and she gives the Russian dude a blowjob.
A joint rescue operation composed of Task Force 141 and Team Metal (They love Heavy Metal especially Metallica) - with the exception of Sergeant Derek “Frost” Westbrook - is carried out in a diamond mine in Siberia. The team is successful in saving both of the Vorshevskys, but Sandman, along with other members of Team Metal are killed as the mine collapses during their extraction. The rescue mission brings about the end of the conflict between the United States and Soviet Russia. Because they all smoke joint while rescuing people. Seargent Derek "Frost" Westbrook is killed because he didn't like Metallica.
With the war over, Lennon and Yuri track Makarov to the Hotel Oasis in the ALLAH HU AKBAR Peninsula. The pair wears Bioshock Juggernaut armor and are virtually unstoppable until they are attacked by a helicopter inside of an elevator. Their armor catches fire, and they are forced to throw it out the window and possibly kill a cat or car. The floor collapses, and Lennon narrowly escapes falling to his death to the center of the earth. After clambering up, he sees that Yuri has been impaled on a metal rod, and tells Price to go on (Yeah Yuri has enough words to say what he needs to say even though he's impaled on a rod by Dracula) Makarov attempts to escape by jumping his fat ass to the helicopter, but Lennon manages to sabotage it. Rounding on Lennon, Makarov prepares to drink vodka, only to be interrupted by Yuri. Makarov kills his former ally, giving Lennon enough time to strangle Makarov with a loose cable and breaking the hotel's glass roof for him to hang freely. Lennon survives the fall and lights a cigar and listens to The Who and The Beatles while watching Makarov’s hanging corpse.
What did you intend with that?
Humor.... and whoever calls it dumb just doesn't have a good sense of humor.

I can see IW slacking on their multiplayer support as the new year rolls around. I don't know what else to expect. We have to assume what they'll do because when it came to modded lobbies and hacks on MW2, it took them 6 months to do a single thing about it. They left the leaderboards in a mess too. CoD4 and WaW are still hacked too though. The only CoD to date with accurate leaderboards is Black Ops. MW3 even has glitchers/boosters/hackers in the leaderboards. Someone was 10th prestige and number 1 in the world before the game was even launched. As far as support from IW for MW3, I've not seen too much. I'm glad they fixed the buttons in clan tags glitch, but when they say they're gonna "nerf" a gun, they should nerf it. I've seen pretty much no difference with the akimbo FMG9's and the hip fire spread on the Type 95. I don't know, I just don't have high hopes for MW3 support in the future. I guess we'll just have to see what happens.

Uh, when it came to unbalanced weapons and modded lobbies in World At War, Treyarch did nothing. They did even less than Infinity Ward did regarding MW2. Sure, you can assume they're not going to patch it much, but I don't think that's a good way to look at it. Infinity Ward is listening to the community, a lot. Sure, when they nerfed it, they kind of under did it, but I think they're trying to avoid what happened with Black Ops, as in nerfing a weapon to the point where nobody uses it and just moves on to the next OP weapon.
Balancing guns in a multiplayer game while you have perks and such in the mix is a really, really difficult task.
The only way to fix the FMGs is make them shoot in a very wide cone in every direction OR give them huge recoil. Enough to tilt your view more than when you get shot at.

I don't remember a gun being nerfed to the point where no one used it. AK74u was nerfed I believe, I still saw it a lot. Famas was apparently nerfed? I used the hell out of it. Those are the only weapons that I recall being nerfed in Black Ops, I could easily be wrong though.

The AK74u was almost useless in comparison to other guns after it was nerfed, as was the FAMAS. Both became worse in every way. Treyarch got kind of lazy with nerfing. When they saw an OP gun, they suddenly just made it into the worst in it's class, really.
Have you ever made a positive post in this thread.
Yeah, when I explained why Treyarch is better than Infinity Ward in terms of designing a game and listening to community feedback. Does anything positive about MW3 actually exist? Unless of course you're a masochist.

what
Seriously, what?
I just finished playing the MW3 campaign...
2 things I realized:
1. Every time you have a gun shoved in your face it's a deagle.
2. in MW4 you will play as Nikolai most likely. Or MacMillan. When you melee you whip out a cane not a knife.
For that matter, every single major character in MW1 and MW2 is pretty much dead except Price, Nikolai, and MacMillan. I guess those 3 go wayyyy back.
just went 33-4 on Resistance arguably my best game of TDM i've played in MW3.
G36C no attachments as well, with those occlusive iron sights. Love the gun, hate the sights

Can't you use Dictionary.com? You have to be a masochist in order to derive any enjoyment out of MW3 in its current state - which includes, but is not limited to: broken spawn system, unbalanced weapons, small and camp friendly maps, screwed up netcode that actually results in a significant disadvantage when host player, horrible UI design.
Black Ops also had some nice additions which IW completely threw away while making MW3 such as not being able to stack killstreaks and it had a more user friendly Create a Class menu, amongst other things.
Oh my God the spawn system is so fucking annoying. Not even saying a word about the god damn balancing, 4 prestiges x 6 lvl 20, Jesus ahhh

imo spawning has always been shitty in CoD games, especially the TDM modes. It's gotten progressively worse throughout the series.

Well yeah it was screwy in Black Ops as I remember a spawn trapping video on Havana/Demolition. But unlike MW3, players in MW2 and BLOPS would spawn from more than one place if their team only had one flag in Domination.
