Well yeah it was screwy in Black Ops as I remember a spawn trapping video on Havana/Demolition. But unlike MW3, players in MW2 and BLOPS would spawn from more than one place if their team only had one flag in Domination.
didn't play MW2 and blops much, but they struck me as worse than CoD4, which was worse than CoD2
Just hopped onto black ops after quite a break.
Entire lobbies filled with level 1-15's.
Awwwww right.
Also, CZ full auto is just bad. I can hit more and faster with semi auto. (I've been using it exclusively for a while)

If you flipped the spawns, yeah. It's the same way with MW3. You can flip the spawns in Domination.
They mentioned that they're working on a patch for the spawns, it's just a little harder to do because the maps are so small.
Just call me.....

reminds me of the time I did a 1v6 on Crash on Search and Destroy in CoD4. UAV Jammer helped me surprise a lot of enemies. That and a large dash of luck.
Oh and those guys that lost in that video only have themselves to blame. If they just planted the bomb and camped it out it would be a guaranteed victory.
To be honest, I think I'm having more fun on CoD4 than MW3. :v:
Can't you use Dictionary.com? You have to be a masochist in order to derive any enjoyment out of MW3 in its current state - which includes, but is not limited to: broken spawn system, unbalanced weapons, small and camp friendly maps, screwed up netcode that actually results in a significant disadvantage when host player, horrible UI design.
Black Ops also had some nice additions which IW completely threw away while making MW3 such as not being able to stack killstreaks and it had a more user friendly Create a Class menu, amongst other things.
I know what 'masochist' means, holy shit. I mean 'what' as in 'what the fuck are you talking about, MW3 has fun aspects to it'
No, you're totally right, it should have taken a lot of pages out of Black Ops' book, what with the whole having one gun clearly outclass all the others in every weapon class, or having 'CoD Points' to unlock guns, even though you have to wait until a certain level to unlock them anyways. You can stack killstreaks in MW3, you just can't stack more than, like, 3 or so at a time. If you get four or five killstreaks, you'll need to use one to unlock the others. So, yeah, they do stack.
User friendly create-a-class menu? I fail to see how Black Ops has anything more user friendly than MW3. Besides, listing a 'user friendly Create a Class system' as an innovation that one game has over the other is really grabbing at straws. I honestly don't give a shit about the create a class system as long as I can navigate it alright.
The weapons are honestly not that unbalanced. The Akimbo FMG-9's are really the only thing that need a nerf. If anything, some weapons need a buff, rather than some weapons needing a nerf. Saying small maps are bad is a matter of opinion, I actually like most of the maps. Camp friendly maps? I fail to see how they're any more camp friendly than the maps of Black Ops or MW2, or even World at War. Like, it's pretty standard fare for CoD maps. They're just small. The host stuff isn't that big of a deal. The UI design is like exactly the fucking same as past CoD games.
You are seriously nitpicking, and even if literally everything you said is true, saying that there's absolutely no enjoyment possible in it is still complete hyberbole.
If you don't like MW3, don't go in threads where we're talking about it. Don't start a discussion about how much you hate the newest CoD game in a CoD thread, that's just TRYING to start an argument.

Seriously, you're completely blowing it out of proportion, and acting like MW3 is the worst game of all time.
So I just played my first match, is is just me or is mw3 kind of "blurry". Black Ops looked better to me, I'm playing on max btw
[editline]28th December 2011[/editline]
Nevermind I discovered a fix. I'm still a little disappointed I feel like Blops was better imo
Is there anyone here that runs MW3 with only 2gb of RAM? I only have that and my mouse is acting weird when playing. It happens only in MW3. I googled it and found out that it might be a lack of RAM.
Does anyone else have the same problem with a twitchy mouse, with more or less RAM?
Doing any real sniping in MW3 is fucking impossible with these small maps
Black Ops MP was my fave MP.
I just finished playing the MW3 campaign...
2 things I realized:
1. Every time you have a gun shoved in your face it's a deagle.
2. in MW4 you will play as Nikolai most likely. Or MacMillan. When you melee you whip out a cane not a knife.
For that matter, every single major character in MW1 and MW2 is pretty much dead except Price, Nikolai, and MacMillan. I guess those 3 go wayyyy back.
I already know that, but you may wanna /sp that so you don't ruin the game for newcomers.

psssh like anyone cares about the SP
most posts here are about MP anyways.

I've never seen someone doing all that 360 noscope bullshit on PC, most people just run around and TRY to quickscope
So uh, is there a reason why I can't render a clip I have saved? I've separated it into segments and uploaded it to the online vault, but it won't let me render it and doesn't appear in Elite.
I've never seen someone doing all that 360 noscope bullshit on PC, most people just run around and TRY to quickscope
I don't think people on the PC understand that aim assist is an important part of quick scoping. I once was at a lan party and some guy who played on console was trying to quickscope in CoD4, didn't work too well for him

What? You can quickscope on PC... you have to aim more than consoles I guess, but I could do in CoD4/MW2. Dunno about MW3.
What? You can quickscope on PC... you have to aim more than consoles I guess, but I could do in CoD4/MW2. Dunno about MW3.
aim assist is part of it but quickscoping in it's essence is more about gaining a huge accuracy boost from shooting "scoped" than "noscoping"
ArmA does away with that bollocks by making the accuracy boost the same as with Assault Rifles, making no-scope accuracy much more tighter.
I don't like how aiming down the sights with a gun magically reduces the cone of fire, guns don't work like that
I don't like how aiming down the sights with a gun magically reduces the cone of fire, guns don't work like that
I like how when you don't have the gun aimed the bullets fly out nearly sideways
I might be late, but does this game have a multiplayer?
I might be late, but does this game have a multiplayer?
No.
I might be late, but does this game have a multiplayer?
A better question would be "does it have singleplayer?"
I don't like how aiming down the sights with a gun magically reduces the cone of fire, guns don't work like that
well in RO it makes sense, before ADS your gun's muzzle is visibly roaming all over the place, not stable at all.
when ADS it roams less.
well in RO it makes sense, before ADS your gun's muzzle is visibly roaming all over the place, not stable at all.

Sorry what does RO mean?
I don't like how aiming down the sights with a gun magically reduces the cone of fire, guns don't work like that
Its sort of a cosmetic thing...
Its supposed to be pictured as aiming down your weapon, steadying it and firing it with accuracy, while hip firing is supposed to be like grabbing a really small donkey that kicks alot by its legs and trying to keep him steady.
In other words, its like grabbing an AK with 2 fingers and pulling the trigger without holding it by the pistol grip.
I guess so... It's pretty unrealistic though.. Oh well I can't really expect that with CoD.

Kind of unrelated to MW3 but I made this thread on SPUF for shits and giggles

I would type something in English and translate to Korean on google translate, then translate back to Korean

Why are you pretending like MW3 isn't another glaring step down the road to banality in the entire industry?
Honestly. At this point it's like what reality-TV did to the television: introduced to the masses a standard for repackaging and reselling tasteless, tired, and ultimately empty content. Now? Every channel is flooded with garbage or advertisements, and all of the good content must be paid for in advance to premium networks or subscription services.

Too Long; Didn't Read? I played DOOM a long fucking time ago.
You know that feeling when you almost have attack dogs and get KS'd?
Cause I sure as hell fucking do.

Holy shit, why does everyone whine about this NOW?
Seriously, there are like HUNDREDS of WWII games and just now, with 2 cod games that are somewhat alike (since they are sequels), people throw a tantrum and say this is killing the videogame industry.
What.The.Hell.
Do you people know what MMO's, RTS's and RPG's are? FPS's aren't the only games out there, and cod surely isn't the only FPS out there either. Just because Activision released a couple of games that are alike (whooptydoo, sequels) doesn't means every game is a cod clone. What the hell, there are only like 2 games that were "codified" according to everyone, Crysis 2 and Homefront.
The problems this game has might not exist in other games, but said games also have their problems, some might even be worse.
To you, its like MW3 represents EVERY FPS out there and others to appear.
Oh guess what, "insert name of generic FPS" Didn't read? I played Doom a long fucking time ago aswell.
