What MW2 MP was always like that, whats your point?
Modern Warfare 2 had something that Black Ops lacked.
Fun
i would've liked a combat training mode in MW3, i doubt we're getting one, but that was a great feature, kinda sad to see it go.

That was the best part about Black Ops.
My friend and I would set it to 2 against 9 on array, max score limit and just snipe.
We used it as a stress reliever and a chat room.
Would you guys say call of the dead is worth th money? I have an urge to buy it but 12quid just for a zombie map? Hmmm

It's....okay
XboxAhoys new video tells his future.

At the end he talks about what he will be doing.
at least he's educating the cod people on proper guns
nice graphic design skills too, sexy images and mock-ups
So I'm wondering if maybe in the next zombie maps the [sp]new four (that is to say, now with Samantha) will go back in time. I mean, it'd make perfect sense since they've already time traveled multiple times. :v: So maybe they can go back in time and defeat 935 before the world is blown up.[/sp]
If they ever do any more zombie stuff, I hope they just let the original four rest awhile, They are getting kind of dull.
Nah, I like the original four. Plus, [sp]Richtofen's now replaced with Samantha, so that'll be quite the change.[/sp] The other survivors have never been as interesting.
I found the original four pretty interesting, call of the dead seemed like a shameless pop-culture plug.
seems like they're getting over the entire call of duty is men in war only shit and adding more ladies
They could just make zombie maps with no story.
They could just make zombie maps with no story.
That would be fairly boring IMO. It was fun finding the easter eggs, which then led to the story being found out.
I want to see a Shi no Numa sized map, that plays like Nacht.
No story
No perks
No PaP
No Traps
Just Zombies and a Mystery Box.

I'm pretty sure zombies are balanced for PaP at later levels, otherwise you have a hard time getting past later levels with weapons (that's why they added PaP?)

People were complaining how zombies maps had no point to them and that they felt empty back then. Then they started adding perks; and eventually the Pack'A'Punch machine. If you don't feel like finding any easter eggs then you don't have to; unless if it's on Shangri-La- y'gotta have four people to get to the damned PaP machine.
They should add PaP version 2 which will cost about 20k so you can get excited after having all perks and pack a punched guns for new versions of them, getting crazy as shit attachments such as pump gun attachement with automatic fire (so you can hold the trigger and they go off like the AA12 from MW2) there is so much room for improvement, you don't need to be an genious to make the zombie mode even more fun.
In my opinion the fun drops after you pack a punched your guns and have everything, it gets really blank.

yup that would add a challenge. Perhaps even V3 and V4 to extend the fun
trick would be balancing it all

This would be incredibly un-fun. You really do need the perks, PaP, and traps to survive into later rounds. The only reason Nacht works is because it's so small.

I dunno, following the story is a large portion of why the maps are so interesting to me. And besides, you're never FORCED to do the easter eggs. They're just a side-mission for the people that care about the story.

I think having a way to 'beat' maps would be welcomed, in addition to a survival. For example, after, say, 25 waves you fight a Patriarch-style boss and complete the map. After round 20 or so, every map has a set circuit to run that you just follow over and over ad infinitum.
[editline]27th August 2011[/editline]
Which is because the only reasons later rounds are more difficult is that zombies have more and more health to the point where it takes entire PaP-clips to take even a single one down.

hence the point balance
balance point income vs. point expenditure
make harder zombies give more points?

Round 24 on Kino Solo.
:toot:
First door had the box, first hit was RPK, second was HK21, grabbed Jug after I turned on the power and punch'd my guns.
Shit gets crazy after that
KieranM didn't get back to me about my request :(
Got to round 23 on shangri la ( four player ) and shit starts to get intense, two go down and I'm left running perfect train strategies around the map. The other guy goes down, and fucking end the game. I mean why wouldnt you just let the game play out, I was fine and they could of respawned, but instead he throws a hissy and ragequits. Thanks- now my highest round remains at 5. Prick.

I've gotten as far as round 25 solo, entirely with off-the-wall weapons. (And PaP-ing.) I voluntarily quit at that point because I had already been playing for like an hour and a half.
Honestly, after round 20 on every map(except five) it gets incredibly easy and repetitive if you do it right.
For kino, do a theater loop with the thundergun and kill your whole horde(if low on ammo use traps)
For COTD you can start running and endgame loop at round 6 (although there is no insta kill weapon)
For shangri-la loop in the minecart area with the baby gun.
For moon loop in the biodome with the wave gun.
For shi no numa and der riese loop with the wonder waffle
Like Call of Duty calls for tactics :v:
Like Call of Duty calls for tactics :v:
But you got to think, if we didn't have the train strategies in zombies it would be quite hard and you could only get to like round thirty or whatever
I'm terrible on zombies on Solo or a full 4 group.
Bro Dude Friend and I managed to make it to round 48 on Kino w/ just eachother.
Me:
Zeuss Cannon
Predator
Monkey Bombs
Bro Dude Friend:
PaP'd Ballistic Knife
PaP'd Ray Gun
Monkey Bombs
We had:
Juggernog
Speedy-Cola
Quick Revive
Damn insane on the last round, we managed to get separated.

Even 30 would be very generous. To survive past 20 you really do need to exploit kiting opportunities all the time.
