I'd totally love to pay $110 a year.
Then again I'm not crazy.
I doubt the new gamemodes are even going to be worth buying the map pack after all, let alone Elite sub.

Also, it does really seem IW has reworked a lot of the system. Seems nice.
Sorry if this is old

Wow, they really added/reworked lots of features, didn't expect that at all. Elite is good even without paying, it's more like DLC distribution system if you decide to pay

$5 a month isn't that bad either compared to what it could be.

Was hinted in the live stream, when talking about how new DLC is going to be handled.
Past that, I know nothing.
Well if you buy hardened edition, you get a year free, which is a really, really good deal for an 80 dollar video game.

A bit of gameplay. Definetly looks like they changed the way killstreaks work. You have to confirm kills now, so it's gonna be a bit harder since you have to run out and pick up the dog tags.

Well, dog tags are only for the "Kill Confirmed" mode. They're not in any other mode.
Also, the game does have a pretty strong CoD4 vibe compared to the other games. MW2 is obviously trumping that, but everything from the way killstreaks appear, to how ironsights operate, to how basic displaying information is.
You have to confirm kills now, so it's gonna be a bit harder since you have to run out and pick up the dog tags.
OH BOY HOW ORIGINAL.
I also noticed how fast every gun aims down sights, I don't know if everybody has been using Sleight of hand.. but looks like quick scoping is back. That doesn't bother me, but I'm sure tons of people will be raging their ass off.
With the main offenders like Commando and OMA gone, and with MW's style mostly intact, I think I'm going to have a blast with this.
I plugged in over a hundred hours on MW2 MP, so I'm pretty sure I'll have fun when this comes out.
Also, found some gameplay.

Excuse me but, what's the difference between mw2?
This is just an expansion- scratch that this is an update to mw2. Bullshit.
What about the new unlock system though? Or did they bring it back to classic unlocking?
What about the new unlock system though? Or did they bring it back to classic unlocking?
New unlocking system?
Is it useful in single-player, I suppose not.
Or does it improve the graphics?
If you are rating it dumb please tell why you rated it.

Because it's the only thing that has been said for the past forever.

Uh, you posted in a Call of Duty thread saying the sequel to Modern Warfare is very similar to Modern Warfare.
How is what you said not dumb?

Probably back to MW2 style. They haven't said anything about the currency system.
IIRC, the Blops currency system is not returning.

Good. I liked Black Ops but making us level up to unlock the guns and then having to actually buy them just added an extra step and made it so you probably unlocked a lot less guns than you would have if you would have just leveled up. I think choosing which attachments you unlock was a good idea, but seriously, having to buy the guns and every single little thing was really frustrating.
One thing that I did like about Black Ops as compared to MW2, was that there was no massive drag between unlocks. Yes, the only things that could be unlocked were weapons, but unlike MW2 where I had to wait 10-19 levels to unlock something that I probably wouldn't use.

I didn't like it because while it wasn't a massive drag to unlock something, it was a massive drag to get the credits for that thing and the attachments you want for it.
Just saw the multiplayer reveal and I am pretty much excited. But I can't help but notice some... "similarities" from other games. I don't want to say stolen but its pretty much stolen lol. Like the drones from Homefront/World in Conflict (Game before HF) and that shield thing from Halo. But more stuff means more fun. I love the dual scopes. That is just overkill.
World in Conflict
Frontlines: Fuel of War actually.
[editline]3rd September 2011[/editline]
Also dogtags from crysis 2 lol.
[editline]3rd September 2011[/editline]
Though it might work a bit better the way it's implemented in MW3.
With CoD:MW2 on sale for 15 bucks on Steam, I was wondering if it would be worth getting on the PC?

I always ended up with the credits pretty quick.

Yeah, I got World in Conflict mixed up with Frontlines. :v:
Hey gents, I just made my first three commentary(ed?) matches ever. Thought you'd want to see them, (everything I say is a joke folks) and the quality of future ones will be 720p 40 fps instead of 480p 20fps (that was just to test things out)

Honestly, how good can anyone's first commentaries be? :P
Oh, now I have the urge to get MW3 too. But sadly won't, I'll probably rent it. It does look tons of fun, reminds me of CoD4. Also yay for new factions, finally some French!

WiC didn't have drones yo
the entire "omfg uber-cinematic invasion of the east coast by Soviets/Russians" is taken-ish from WiC, although IMO WiC does it better
finally some French!
What? Are they the only team in the new "Surrender" mode?
Bad jokes aside, I am really happy that the SAS is making it's way back in, might fix up some plotholes from the 2nd one.

I think Red Dawn did it better than both, but that's just my opinion.
