People saying the new killstreak system is new and innovative where you have to pick up the dog tags.... *COUGH*Crysis 2*COUGH*
People who said that didn't know what they were talking about because you don't pick up dog tags to get kill streaks. You get point streaks by getting points from kills or completing objectives (or 2 assists with hardline pro). The dog tags are part of the new game mode kill confirmed which is a version of team deathmatch where you only get points if you collect the dog tags after kills. If an enemy collects one of their tags its a denied kill and your team gets no points.

Sorry for adding this one but the game is like Hans Zimmer's music, he has a soundboard of 16 buttons and he mashes them differently each time saying I have a new music, just like Mw3
Dog tags in kill confirmed don't count towards point streaks, only kills do.
Yeah and to get kills confirmed you have to pick up the dog tags, how hard is that to understand
Dog tags are only ONE game mode. Kill Confirmed isn't a global system, it's just one idea part of many. The point system as a whole is innovative; I don't remember any game ever, to be honest, giving me constant, ramped-up awards for actually playing the objective before winning. Most rewards for playing the objectives are similar to TF2: you get a weapon boost or so. CoD is giving you consecutively better and better aids to actually work with your team and try to play the game. That's a pretty good incentive.
Yeah and to get kills confirmed you have to pick up the dog tags, how hard is that to understand
Still you cant say that because you get points in one game mode by picking up dog tags and you need points to get rewards, that their new killstreak system is copied from Crysis 2.
I was tempted to get this. Not any more. I might get it if it goes on sale on steam (hahahaha yeah right). otherwise I probably won't. I can't justify spending £40 on this. I know it's been said time and again but this really is just an expansion to me. sure, there's a few different things, changes been made, but there is an element of turd polishing here. They did as much as they could with the engine in MW2 in my opinion, and they really need to start work with a new one. I'm tired of seeing nothing innovative come from this any more. It seems they've run out of ideas and they're just rehashing everything again. Don't get me wrong, I had great fun with MW2 (despite not liking it that much) and MW. WaW was boring to me and Blops had no fun element in it, but I did put in a lot of hours playing all of them (besides WaW, I think I played one multiplayer game and quit forever).
By the way those weapon proficiency things: - Kick: Reduced recoil - Impact: Bullets retain damage when fired through objects - Attachments: 2 attachments - Focus: Reduced flinch when hit - Breath: You can hold your breath while aiming down the sights - Stability: Reduced weapon sway
So it's like Porn then? Hard-Kill goes for the bigger, faster rockets, and soft goes for those that are slower and thicker. [editline]2nd September 2011[/editline] GNAAGH I want to play Campaign first, and make the music louder than the game. Hans Zimmer, do want
But I was told Hans Zimmer didn't make the music this time. Also all the trailer music so far has sucked and are not by him. TBH Hans Zimmer's music made up for 50% of MW2's gameplay
Lethal Equipment: - Frag - Semtex - Throwing knife - Bouncing Betty - Claymore - C4 Tactical Equipment: - Flash - Stun - Scrambler - EMP grenade - Smoke grenade - Trophy system - Tactical insertion - Portable radar Deathstreaks: 4: Juiced - move faster for a few seconds 5: Revenge - See the position of the enemy that killed you last 4: Final Stand - Same as MW2 4: Martyrdom - Same as MW2 6: Dead man's hand - Unsure 5: Hollow Points - Increased bullet damage?
Okay, i take it back from yesterday, after watching and reading stuff about this. I am much more impressed than yesterday. And i will probery buy both games. It looks better than MW3, and the packages sound like a great idea for team play.
I like how "Impact" and "Attachments" are miles better than all the other ones.
I'd take Focus over any of those.
I'm such a faggot in video games - in MW2 i abused knifing like fuck (especially during the great times of care package nade running) In BC2 I mainly use Gustav And in blops - ballistic knife knifing, oh god it's so satisfying mvp erry round + 11 kpd + lots of moneey
Watching some of the Videos, im thinking that quick scoping is going to be worse in this than in MW3. It just seems faster to me.
I don't understand why it looks exactly like mw2. I mean sure it's a sequel and all but it just looks exactly the same. I expected them to change it up some more, something like the difference between cod4 and mw2.

The only thing the people at Activision know about COD is that it makes a lot of money.

Some gameplay of the Juggernaut, with a little bit of the Little Bird (no action, just appears).
So is there anyone here that plans on getting MW3 for the PC?

Call signs and all that im guessing would be added before the game goes gold. I'd imagine anyway. Also, I dont know if its a blessing or a curse that the Juggernaut only has a Sheild. But i might be wrong there. At least shotguns are a primary again, You need that darn pistol.
