So its a blessing then, Particulary when its a pre-deployed game. Then its VIP with a walking tank.
I liked the gameplay videos, just a big humongous patch to MW2 and i'm completely ok with this.

bahahahaha
last game the competitive community took seriously in CoD was CoD4 (in fact it still does, MSI grunex is today in Prague)
but it doesn't take a idiot to know the skill ceiling for cod is much lower than it is for other FPS games, such as CS and Quake IIIA.

Or in other words, you like cod now shut up about it.
His problem is people will come into the thread and make only 1 post saying that call of duty with shit. He doesn't have a problem with people not liking it he has a problem that people want to cram it down this thread's throats.
Quick question, is MW2 worth buying on PC?
I used to have it on Xbox, but sold it. All I know is that MW2 pc is full of hackers and shit and has a bad fov level.
But is it worth buying on PC though?

I think I agree with the title.

It has various connection problems and a hassle to get your NAT open even if it's Open on other games. Only a couple thousand people play 24/7 and only in a couple of gamemodes so it's hard to find a game (very hard). If you buy it, it would be for campaign and spec ops cause the multiplayer is quite dead.

lmao. It has more players in multiplayer than Black Ops most days during the week and Black Ops only has a 2,000 player lead even though it's a free weekend. It's far from "dead".
Is it just me who thinks this or are Camo's for your gun just a waste of Disk Memory?

Yeah but this is different. CoD is often specifically targeted for a variety of really odd reasons, like how it's "corrupting" the video game industry single-handedly. Because of that, you see a lot of posters running into CoD threads and bashing the game, without bringing any useful content into the thread.
It's one thing if the opinion is backed up by some sort of rational thought, but most of the time it's just people knowing nothing about MW3 saying how it's exactly like MW2. Remember how everyone was proclaiming it was exactly like MW2 yesterday? They hadn't even SEEN gameplay, and it was automatically a mw2-clone. That's not rational. That's just quick, baseless judgment.

It is seriously hard to find a good game: or at least one that isn't a bunch of top prestige players shitting all over everybody.
Maybe there's a lot of players, but the connection issues makes that moot. You can't even join a game. Doesn't matter if there's 1 million players playing if you can connect to none of them.

I only played alterIW, which was decent
A lot of my friends bought the game for the PC, and I've played on their accounts once or twice. the experience was tolerable, but not worth the money in my opinion.

just keep the good ones, most of them look like shit.
To tell you the truth, as a Battlefield fanboy, after seeing the trailers I can tell that Modern Warfare 3 changes a lot from MW2, but I kind of fear that the main issues that bugged me in MW2 (noobtubes especially, now that they added a smart grenade launcher) won't be fixed, and once I'll start playing it it'll push me to rage quitting again and again. MW2 was so cheap in so many ways, and I don't think they could do a lot of changes to the core MW game mechanic that fix it without changing the entire formula of Modern Warfare.
Modern Warfare 2 always shined best in private, friends-only games.
That was when I had best my best experiences :v
Does anyone else think the Juggernaut suit looks completely useless unless you're facing an enemy team with tunnel vision?

American? Plenty of people in Europe play

Against a group of enemies you will get torn apart pretty quickly, but by the looks of things in a 1v1 situation the Juggernaut will completely fuck you up.
Getting closer to having a fully playable (solo) version of nazi zombies 2D. It has to be done by tomorrow or I will not be getting good marks for it.
As for Co-op, it is pretty much fully coded, only problem is that I've been to lazy to finish the lobbies to connect the players together. The zombie AI is the only problem that is preventing me from releasing it as it needs to be redone.

I can't wait dude!
might be interesting
probably better than the fuckton of zombie mods that have become the cancer of CS2d
Can someone explain me this point streak system? I mean you dont really need to get 18 kills and not die a single time right? Is it more like you get 5 kills without dying for your first streak and then when you die you need 7 kills to advance from the 5 steak you choosen to the 12 one and then 6 another kills without dying? Someone please explain :<

In the next version it will play out the same as regular zombies: You start with 500 points, there will be doors and such and some other stuff I can't remember.

It's really REALLY weird, totally different from any of the earlier ones.
The mp is nice, infact i never found a hacker or a small kid screaming(yes little kids talk alot but that's why i mute them) so i guess go for it.
There aren't any kids because they're stupid. If they actually knew what their computers could do, they'd probably be playing it now.
American? Plenty of people in Europe play
Yeah, America here. It's complete bullshit. You're lucky if you get into a game of TDM; pretty much every other mode is impossible to get into a game.
You guys, this is gameplay that probably isn't finished. I did notice the callsign system is similar, but I've watched some youtube videos from people that were actually at the event and they've said it seems like Infinity Ward still needs to make a few tweaks/changes before it's ready to go, which stands to reason since the game is still like two months from release. If this were the absolutely final build of the game and they had no more changes to make, it'd be going gold and would probably be released earlier.
Hutch said in a video he made about XP to not pass any judgement until the game was out. He played Black Ops two months before it came out and it was a lot different from the final build. He also talked about the gameplay quite a bit. He said that everything feels a lot like MW2 and plays like it except for the SMGs. The SMGs have a lot more strict damage drop off, to the point where if you're trying to snipe someone with it you have almost no chance of killing him. Up close, however, the SMGs are really really good and can beat just about any other weapon. He did say that they were a little insane if you took a specialization to increase their effective range and steady aim though. He said you could just hip-fire pinpoint snipe people with it.
People saying that MW3 is just an updated version of MW2.
Well isnt that kinda the point? BF3 just an updated version of BF2. Its the same but better graphics.
Skyrim is just an updated version of Oblivion and so on and so on. Why would IW change the succesful formula and the reliable engine when people got so pissed off when Treyarch made a balanced COD for a change.
"Change the game, but keep it the same. It will still suck because its COD."
But....Skyrim and BF3 are using brand new completely different engines than their prequels. MW2 was fun, it did have it's problems, but at least I had some fun every now and then. Black Ops is so "Balanced" it's boring. But really, MW3, from what I've seen, is just an expansion pack for MW2. :|
My opinion.
The menu and all that seems way better than the game sadly. They really nailed the menu, it looks absolutly great and all that.
