I appreaciated Battlefield 3 since its rumours and jets. But because of Origin, out-game server browser and requirements for medium-high quality graphics I think I'll pick Modern Warfare 3 instead. It looks simplier to play in my opinion.

I want both but they both really want me to not buy them. In the end I will probably buy them both and start out loving them, then hate them.
I kinda miss playing MW2 already. I don't care about map packs as long as I have my free multiplayer and equipment to create artistic slaughter. Speaking of map packs, I'm still stuck playing only Dustbowl in Team Fortress 2. I'll find my favorite map to play at.
I love the grenade launcher attachments. It's like an extra two grenades. I just don't like how everyone calls it a noobtube; when you can easilly deflect one with the Flak Jacket perk.

You only have to waste a perk slot to stop it"

You have to remember that no one is above in power than anyone else; except if they use the Famas/AK74u.
Except they were both nerfed at least a little.
I hope I can be a fucking tank with the shield this time without the juggernaut thing.

I don't have a problem with grenade launchers unless half the enemy team is using them, then it just gets cheesy.
I have a problem with people who have it on and use it as soon as they spawn instead of when it suits the situation.
I tube here and there. It's mostly to clear out campers. A lot of times I detonate their claymores and do them in.
I've learned to use grenades more than anything. Someone in a room? Prime a frag and toss it in. Someone hiding behind a door? Frag em. Nades do wonders and make people rage less.
Solution: Limit grenade launchers for 2 people on the team! Snipers also for 2.
Solution: Limit grenade launchers for 2 people on the team! Snipers also for 2.
yeah! then lets also not let anyone use the same perk set!
I like how BO didn't have a lot of noob tubers. It wasn't like mw2 at all, where you were easily hit with a grenade from a grenade launcher every few lives.

When you make it hard to be a dick, less people do it. MW2 had it really bad because of refilling the nades and it being the first unlock. [editline]3rd September 2011[/editline] Showed up on reddit. Appears to be the events of MW2.
None of that happened in MW2, Price didn't die and Shepard was against them long before they reunited with Price. [editline]4th September 2011[/editline] It was still cool.
There's an interview up with the people behind those shorts saying it takes place between MW1 and MW2. Their original script was going to be more or less an adaptation of the game, but Activision said no to it.
Shit Nhoj is beating me in posts in this thread, I must maintain first place.
I've sent off a documented version to my software teacher. It isn't as complete as I had hoped but it'll have to do because I'll get a 0 for it if I don't hand it in today. [release]1.0.4.2 Updated • Players now start with the correct 500 points • Revive soda is now available for 3 uses at 500 points while playing solo. The power doesn't need to be on for it to be purchased • Increased recoil drastically on weapons intended to be semi automatic • Increased overall weapon damage to make them more effective longer • The grim reaper power up should no longer disappear while reloading as long as you have extra ammo • The keys bound will now be saved in the data folder • Zombies will now do more damage, only needing 3 hits instead of 5 to kill you • Zombies will now crawl out of the ground instead of just appear • Zombies now climb over crates instead of standing next to them doing nothing • If you are downed without revive soda, the game now displays the scoreboard and restarts automatically after a while. • Changed the way aiming works and should now be compatible with fullscreen (Press F4 to switch modes) • Debug information is now shown by pressing F3 in game. Will show FPS and game version. • Increased the font size for most HUD elements • The tag line will now correctly display which key you can push to interact with a trigger • The box in airfield now contains the correct weapons Added • Doors • Barracks on the options menu. Ranking up unlocks new emblem items. • Added a score board (accessed by holding control until I fix a problem with the TAB key) • A screenshot of the scoreboard is taken after the game has ended • Added simple weapon sounds. More will be added as they become available Fixed • Fixed a spelling error in the map selection • Blood is no longer orange red • Changes to the box glow so it is now slightly visible while standing at the box • Fixed some bugs probably http://www.mediafire.com/?o3z3qxeyz2ukzxh[/release] I'm done working on it for today, so here is the version (partially) that I promised.
*nazi zombies awesome*
Dude, last time I played your game it was in 0.1 the first version, totally buggy without zombies and only as testing. Let's see how this one plays :v:

Finally, proper gameplay. Also I'm glad some WIP and placeholders are gone now. For example, some animations, sounds, etc. Like the M4A1 sound, it's different to what we heard at E3.
Fuck.. I am getting this, I love the arcadey style jump in have fun jump out and get rewarded type of cod. It seems that at start of the mw series all was about beeing serious and so real but now it's all arcadey and a quick drop in and drop out blast, I love this.

looks like they're continuing the award obscene amounts of points for kills thing, the kills early on net 100+ points per kill. later on it seems to have reverted to 50
TDM
Man, I had counted on going a year without CoD for the first time in awhile, and then Activision steps up with this shit and it looks totally awesome.
