If you're with a couple of friends and you're really working as a team, I'd see no problem shooting them once and letting your team finish him off. It's not constant but at least it gives them an idea on where he's headed [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] Like if you're playing on team tactical
A heartbeat sensor would be much more effective for team tactical.
A heartbeat sensor would be much more effective for team tactical.
Your entire team may not have heartbeat sensors
How about cashing in assists with the riot shield? I mean my best round of riot shield (assist wise) was about 19 assists in one short TDM match. Well that would equal 9 kills for your point streak, and I also killed about 9 dudes so that would get me that juggernaut. Which kill/pointstreak selection haves that 4 time bouncing betty machine that you plant on the ground on 5 point streak? I really hope support.. but didnt support have the turret? Also Body Vests plus Riot Shield would be an awesome combination, I bet you get points by giving players Kevlar Vests.
Probably the Famas
No Famas in the multiplayer, or in the whole game.
No Famas in the multiplayer, or in the whole game.
It's in Campaign, it was in the Reveal trailer w/ GIGN.
The menu code for Nazi Zombies 2D has been redone. It looks a lot better, its easy to modify and its easy to customize. One step closer to creating mod tools.
I don't understand why they would take out the Famas...
Is it me or does that holographic sight look shitty, the one from cod4 thats being brung back
I'm not a personal fan of the CoD4 RDS i prefer the MW2 one. That being said it's probably because i never played CoD4 MP so never got experience with it. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] And i hope they don't bring back the CoD4 holo, i hated using that on the "defend the tank mission" aka bog on MP [editline]8th September 2011[/editline] and oh god the scar looks soooo good, with RDS or otherwise and you can compare weapons in loadout shweeeeet
Is it me or does that holographic sight look shitty, the one from cod4 thats being brung back
Dunno about the holo sight but you can select from multiple scope RDS scope designs. :3

IIRC in-game weapon stats are inaccurate as shit Also the CoD4 EOTech was not present in MP, so no worries. But I would prefer the CoD4 RDS any day, :P
Apparently the PP90M1 is the new overpowered weapon. All the submachine guns outclass any gun (except sniper rifles) in close to medium range combat in MW3.
That's not what I hear. I hear the SMGs have crazy damage drop-off. At close range they are second only to shotguns, whereas at medium range they're alright, and then at long range they're trash. Although Hutch said if you take the added range proficiency you can snipe with them. It doesn't really sound like they'll dominate everything to me. SMGs have always been really good, and I think people are just really eager to freak out since the AK-74u in Black Ops was really overpowered for awhile.

They're not great, bit it's better than nothing.

In my opinion the MP5 was the best. SMGs haven't had that crazy of dropoff. With a silencer sure, but you could definitely use an SMG at long range.
Can anyone explain what the IMS killstreak is? It's part of the assault strike package (5 kills) and the only explanation I can find is "The Intelligent Munitions System detects and eliminated enemy combatants"
Can anyone explain what the IMS killstreak is? You get three of them.
If an enemy walks near it, it pops up and artillery kills them. You get three of them.
So it's sort of like a stronger claymore?
So it's sort of like a stronger claymore?
Yeah, I guess. More akin to a Bouncing Betty. You can see one in action at the end of the Survival trailer.
Yeah, I guess. More akin to a Bouncing Betty. You can see one in action at the end of the Survival trailer.
Ah that's one of them. I assumed that was equipment.
there's got to be some sort of draw back to it though
there's got to be some sort of draw back to it though
Uh, it's five kills to basically get three bouncing betties. I fail to see why it needs a drawback. It doesn't seem that great in the first place.
there's got to be some sort of draw back to it though
It's very noticable and you've got to be retarded to die by it.
It's very noticable and you've got to be retarded to die by it.
Yeah, it's bigger and flashier than both Claymores and Bouncing Betties as well. Pretty much you'd just have to use it as an obstacle rather than a trap. Like, placing them in chokepoints would be a bitch for the enemy team.

I'm sad now because I thought they would be mines rather than a modernized betty. :( Either way, they're still cool. And not at all noticable, so place them around corners or by the objective and you'll get tons of kills.

You know those spinny mines that pop up in the forest during that one mission, and you have to go prone to dodge them? That's what the bouncing betties in this game are going to be like.
Uh, it's five kills to basically get three bouncing betties. I fail to see why it needs a drawback. I think hiding it in brush or camping spots would be beneficial and also be able to last the entire match regardless of you dying would be fair. Black Ops is a big failure. And I'm worried that MW3 is going to fail because the original owners of Infinity Ward left. Homefront isn't THAT bad. I do prefer Bad Company 2 over it but it's still fun to play every now and then.
speaking of going prone, is there any word about dolphin diving? or can we go from sprinting to prone within a couple of seconds again?
There is no dolphin diving, but it looks like there's a bit of a delay between sprinting and going prone. [editline]8th September 2011[/editline]
Black Ops is a big failure.
How exactly is Black Ops a big failure?
Uh, did you play MW2 single player? You know those spinny mines that pop up in the forest during that one mission, and you have to go prone to dodge them? That's what the bouncing betties in this game are going to be like.
Ohh, those. I assume you can go prone to dodge them in MW3 as well, but that would be fairly stupid. They will be useful in the first few days, but once people learn how to dodge it, it'll be weak. Also took a look at some of the killstreaks, and some look useful while others look dumb. I'm going to love the Assault drone and the Recon Drone. Recon drone is a mini-helicopter. It gives like 100 points for spotting an enemy, so essentially 2 kills for just spotting. The assault drone is a mini-tank, and it looks fun. The reaper sounds REALLY OP. You get like, 12 missles or something, and they're laser-guided AGMs. And for the controllable turret, it sounds like... like it can be executed well if you place it correctly, but will also crumble to pieces if you get it in a bad spot. I LOVE that MW3 is adding vehicles to this game. But the maps have to be a bit bigger than the previous additions to the series. Otherwise it won't work well.
