Why do you guys care. I think it might be a joke about how people were afraid Black Ops was gonna be Pay to Play based off of what Bobbeh Kotick said, so they're saying it's free.
Why do you guys have to bitch about the smallest things? Like seriously. A few pages ago someone was bitching about a truck in a trailer that was re-used from MW2 and now someone is bitching about how Treyarch is making a joke about how their multiplayer is free. Everyone needs to relax and not get so worked up over the smallest things.

You sure its a joke? They never said that it was. They are charging $50 a year to have access to information you could find on wikipedia so why wouldnt they sell the MP separate? And dont even start with the content reuse thing. I was the one you are referencing and we FINALLY stopped arguing about it.

I agree with half of what you say. The truck thing is just ridiculous. Its like people are asking for completely different stuff from 1 game to another when the sequel happens right after the prequel.
However, the joke Treyarch put there is a little of bad taste... Don't really care, but... Doesn't helps them get a better looking face.

Uh, kinda? You can pay 50 bucks to get all the DLC and other stuff for a year. Supposedly they're gonna have DLC once a month, and it's probably gonna be 15 dollars, so, it's actually a really good deal if you want all the DLC. You can also just buy the Hardened version and get an entire year free.
Unless you're talking about having a code that you need to have in a new copy to play multiplayer, in which case I don't think so. That seems like something EA is pushing, not Activision.

Also they give you a lot of neat shit for 50 dollar. At least, it's neat in my opinion. A TV Channel, all the DLC for free (Which is gonna be like... 12 DLCs according to them) and some other shit like that. Coupled with the fact that you get an entire year for free by buying the 80 dollar edition of the game, it's not a bad deal by any means.

well because they charge for DLC
me being someone who is probably going to sink more than 100 hours into KF, a game that cost me $20, that's not a good enough cost/benefit ratio for me
but that's me.
I'm just saying that it's good if you're a cod player that buys all the DLCs and really likes the games, maybe not so good if you're a casual player who only buys 1-2 DLCs and doesn't really care about anything more than "playing the game"

They've been doing that with every game they have released, they're not about to stop.
Hell even before they did it to consoles, they've been doing it to their PC games. It just wasn't called the "Online Pass", it was called the "CD Key", the one thing that prevented people from selling and buying second hand PC games.
So I been thinkin'.. We should round some people up and play some MW2. A private match if we can get enough people, if not, then we can just go pubbing.

Oh wait, nope. Unless you guys can wait till I get MW1 again, I can only go for MW2. And we better have enough people. Pubing kinda sucks with the lack of games available and awfull lag. It seems like I play with polish people and the like nowadays.
Also, I'm gonna resell my retail copy of MW1 at this store. Wonder how much they'll give for it. I'd hope for a bit, or at least something nice for all the games, enough for mw3 on steam and maybe a little more something something.
