well because they charge for DLC
me being someone who is probably going to sink more than 100 hours into KF, a game that cost me $20, that's not a good enough cost/benefit ratio for me
but that's me.
I'm just saying that it's good if you're a cod player that buys all the DLCs and really likes the games, maybe not so good if you're a casual player who only buys 1-2 DLCs and doesn't really care about anything more than "playing the game"
KF charges for DLC bro.
Nobody is making you buy the DLC. I'm saying getting 15 dollar DLCs for less than five dollars for a year is a pretty good deal.
Uh yeah that's pretty irrelevant. You're only paying for player skins.
Only gold members have avatars now. :<
What the fuck, is that what happened to my avatar? Well shit. Wish I hadn't deleted my Gold account now. :/
Uh yeah that's pretty irrelevant. You're only paying for player skins.
And you'd only be paying for more areas to fight in :v:
MW2 Hide and Go Seek let's do this shit
Black Ops had little to no replayability when it came to Multiplayer. It's either: Famas/AK74/Galil or Get Murdered.
MW2 let you experiment and fiddle with crazy things [Dual Silenced Vectors :v:] and still let you win.

Did you forget about the SCAR/ACR/dual G18s in MW2? They're used just as much as the famas/AKS-74u/galil in Black Ops...

But at least there were ways to get around them. The ACR/Scar could be easily countered with an M4A1 or even just a PP2000. The Dual G18's were a tad annoying, but people had to get up close and personal to do so, so just watch your back and fire at will.

While I will agree that MW2 was definitely more unbalanced than Black Ops, the weapons weren't really the problem. It was more like the Air Support. You needed to sacrifice taking a secondary just so that you could have some chance of survival against Air Support that would aimbot the fuck out of you if you so much as spawned.
Don't even get me started on Chopper Gunners.
And you'd only be paying for more areas to fight in :v:
Yeah paying to unlock content that was probably already on the disc is a blast.
Yeah paying to unlock content that was probably already on the disc is a blast.
And paying to skin a character you could have easily done in photoshop is neat too.
You're not losing out on anything though.
Did I say I was?

not the shit that matters, specifically maps and weapons (CoD DLCs don't even ADD weapons, lelz)
[editline]11th September 2011[/editline]
I have both games so whichever we can get enough people for is fine with me.
I actually have all of them, I picked em all up in that CoD pack that was on sale last christmas.
add me on xfire yo
also charging for maps divides the community, charging for player skins does not.

l2stinger.
l2stinger.
well the stinger would take up his secondary, now would it?
You could take down choppers with a single rocket in MW2 as long as you were close enough to it when you locked on.
well the stinger would take up his secondary, now would it?
UMP45 with Silencer/Stinger/Scavenger/Cold Blooded/whatever perk 3 is an immensely useful class to have. Insta-shooting-down chopper gunners or harriers is extremely satisfying.
I always do take stingers, and I always do shoot down air support, I'm just saying it's kind of silly that you basically HAVE to have stingers in order to not get destroyed by air support. I mean, take Call of Duty 4 for example. Usually people didn't take RPGs, so when a helicopter showed up, you'd either need a turret to take it down or just deal with it. It wasn't that big of a deal though, because a Helicopter wouldn't steamroll your entire team instantly. It wouldn't be that devastating to your team to just sit through a helicopter. Whereas in MW2 if you sit through a harrier, pave low, or chopper gunner, you are almost guaranteed to lose.
Not that I'm complaining, I'm just saying if anything is overpowered in MW2, it's the air support.

Uh, maps don't even matter. They don't kick you from lobbies anymore if you don't have the maps, and they hardly ever have DLC specific playlists, so the only reason to buy the maps is just because you want to fight in new places. Same reason you'd buy a skin pack for Killing Floor, so that you can look different.
So bored. Though I went 18 - 8 on Search and Destroy, First Recon Set.
The knifing situation in Black Ops seems to be even worse then in MW2, except no one takes it.
With guns in any other map, I do like 20-15 or something of the sort, unless I hug one of those bastard chokepoints tight.
With Lightweight Pro, Steady Aim Pro and Marathon Pro + Balistic knife on Nuketown, I do like 31-10 or something like that. Same in Radiation (I think thats the name)
Its just soo fast and the lack of commando is unnoticeable. Even better with servers, less lag, more accuracy in killcams and in who shoots what and how much.
That round in Nuketown I called in 1 heli, 2 or 3 napalm strikes and dunno how many UAV's. I must change the last 2 to something better. UAV <3 though
Sounds like my extreme cutlery kit, same perks with ballistic knife and tomahawk.
Oh... Their still using CoD 4's reload sound on the mw3 G36C assault rifle...
Even has a different reload and anything...
:sigh:
Will there be a hardened edition for PC?

What do you mean about the knifing in black ops?
Will there be a hardened edition for PC?
Your avatar introduced the hardened edition of my penis, and probably not.
Problems that MW2 had:
Commando: It was a definite annoyance, and when paired with Tactical Knife, it was a threat to anyone within 15 feet of them.
Counter: Watch your sides, especially for those who have a Tac-Knife weapon out.
Quick Scoping: Not really a threat, as it was a waste of time with your teammates, being that they won't pay attention to objectives/kills.
Counter: Just double your workload and work hard to get the job done.
The More Experience, The Better: That one is hard to get around. The only counter to this one is that you need to stop whining and try.
That's the only problems I can think of. OMA tubing wasn't as bad as Scavenger tubing, which could refill your thumper if needed.

Commando is no longer a problem, at least that's what RB said.
Quickscoping IS back in MW3, but you really don't see it all that much. If you do, the person is usually an amatuer at it. I've rarely seen somebody who can quickscope me multiple times in a row and kill me. Actually, I never have.
I don't get what ya mean by the third point though.
Meaning: He's a higher level, so he gets better stuff than me
I'm a lower level, so I have to crawl my way up.
Black Ops had the option for a lot of things right at the starting gate, but then it turned into "Hmm, what shall I use today: Famas again!"
enfield at the beginning
totally as good as the commando
